It's a great start. Sadly I won't be using default frames until they add buffs and debuffs to the nameplates.
Hoping for a toggle for the old UI portrait, not a huge fan of the updated wider bars.
I do hope they retain the old loot interface as an option. While the new one does look "cleaner", it seems to lack the "character" that the old one has. It feels sterilized. Also, I don't think the sliding animation really adds anything, seems like clutter to me.PS. I'm still not over the fact that I can't LOWER my nameplate draw distance! The old range made sense: if I could see the nameplate, I could tab target it (and also meant that casters were in range as well). I grew accustomed to that over years of playing!
The new portrait window and loot window look great but I'm not a fan of the sliding animation.
I don't love it... Guess I'll be in the market for an addon to put it back haha.
I prefer the old ones. They give me much more fantasy theme, the new versions look too simple in design. I feel like I'm looking at an addon, I'm sorry to see WoW's signature design/style go.
I hope the animation in the "new" loot window can be disabled. And I wonder why this is already on the PTR, feels incomplete and broken.ButtonForge was released 12 years ago and still does a better job with bars.https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/button-forge
This is looking pretty good. New ui is perfect example of less being more and it's definitely gonna replace some addons for me.
I think the ui is on its way, but how I would love the able to skin it to something more than the old Wow metal borders. That would be amazing.
Please let us turn off that portraits... I believe there will be choice to use just health + power bar...
