Anyone thinking there would be a secret ending that changes how things played out was delusional.I would love to be wrong as I'm not a fan of the current ending - not because of the quality but because I dislike the player character being front and center for major events. People whined when they put Cho'gall into mythic Highmaul and it barely affected the story. There's no way they'd do it with an end expansion boss.
Blizzard's new motto: Eh, $%^& it.
What is happening with Blizzard lately.. more and more disappointment.
I want method to lose, other than that i can give less "#%$&% about the mythic race, thats just stupid XD
The last "real" secret Phase was Gul Dan in Nighthold. Sure, Argus went glowy red and new mechanics were added, but it wasn't like Gul Dan. It wasn't like Archimonde, etc. It was just a couple new mechanics added to the final phase. Granted I really liked Mythic Argus and it was one of my favorite bosses to prog, but yeah, I didn't expect anything from N'zoth and expected this to be it. Blizz has no reason to throw extra $$$ at mythic raiding.
I hope this teaches blizz a lesson or hopefully them giving up or not paying attention is because of shadowlands. I mean look at WoD how disappointing that was with no new updates besides selfie patch. But they were working on Legion and Legion turned out awesome. Maybe its like that with BFA so shadowlands is awesome. I just wish they didnt change the fight so much, they shouldve just let them have two secret phases rather than one and nuke boss is boring. At least have a secret cinematic which i doubt is going to happen. SO the whole fight would be disappointing.
People keep saying that there are a lot of passionate people on the dev teams that still care about the games they make, that it's the higher-ups who aren't giving them enough time to put out good content, that they're just shifting resources to make Shadowlands amazing. I can't see how that can be true guys. I really firmly believe nobody on the WoW design team gives a $%^& about WoW or any of the players. It's just a boring 9-5 job that they check in and out of each day to pay the bills. How can anybody who cared about the game, let alone plays it, release something like this patch?
Blizzard masterfully subverted everyone's expectations.
Nasty. Blizz hotfixed out the Secret Void Cow Level, on the fly.Not really. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The chronic lack of polish; the bugs everywhere (not the Aquir ones), and now this kerfluffle, all make me less optimistic about Shadowlands. People are going "the same team that worked on Legion," but it all comes down to Activision-Blizzard. The Shadowlands team is not working in sole isolation: they are under the same fiscal scrutiny from Activision that the BfA team was. There is no guarantee that they are being given any more leeway with regard to development resources than was the case for BfA. In fact, count on Activision to be breathing down their neck to rush the new product out.
in fairness, this isn't something you can test properly with players without giving away the mechanics before the mythic race. some people are just looking for a reason to whine.
Eh?Even WOD's final boss had a secret phase. WTF, Blizzard? Did they canceled an actual secret phase or forgot to implement it at all?
