I wonder if dracthyr men can have a full beard? Malygos has a full beard, but Senegos' mane is even fuller.
I hope theres an option to hide the wings DH style and just have them pop up when you need them.
I love hearing of the customization.I dont get people wanting to play a dragon, but also not playing one. That is just like wanting to always stay in human form when playing a worgen.Besides, the powers is made for dragonform, like the breath attack. I liked Demon hunters, but not that you only had limited time in demon form. Dracthyr satsifies that a great deal.
There is hope Prayge
I like the new race and plan to roll one in 10. That said, I am not in love with the humanoid dragon form they have created. They feel more like lizard people than dragons to me. I do understand where the requests for "bulkier" come from, and I am glad to see they acknowledge some body type customizations. But, I think the better description for me is "lanky". They look tall and lean. Muscular and fit, yes, but not imposing like a dragon should. I like the heads a lot, but they do look out of proportion to the body in those pictures. I am also okay with the single androgenous combat form, and I feel like more races will be added to visage form, so not worried about those things. I am really excited to see more about the new class, and get a feel for how it plays. I mained a priest for most of my wow years because I love ranged dps and healing. I want to love this class so much, Blizz please don't let me down.
I'm ok with the dragon people, I'll have to wait and see more customizations to see if I really love them or not.The class though, I dunno. Don't like that it's limited to one race and it feels like it's a big flashy class that's meant to look cool but for me that's not always what I'm looking for from an RPG. It feels like another demon hunter.I'd much rather have a bard, a necromancer, an elemental knight, a summoner, a chronomancer, a tinkerer... Classic RPG classes which multiple races could be and don't require flashy green scars, alternate forms or a whole new race just to be able to use it.Cool I can fly around and breathe fire on enemies, but it would be just as cool to be a dwarf running into battle with a set of bagpipes boosting stats of my teammates.
I think a lot of people(myself included) would GREATLY appreciate a glyph to stay in human form.
Also, side note - based on the armor being worn in both forms, I think it would be better for if chest plate and gloves are added, while I appreciate that dragons have tougher skin/hides, just feels fitting if the top half of armor can still be shown.Because unlike DH with metamorph, I doubt our dragon form is going to be anything like Metamorph :/
I'm not sure why there's even a human form at all.
Don't be fooled guys, the "extra bulky torso" was showned in the video guys, and it's sooooo "slightly bulkier" that nobody noticed it. We need a skin that looks like the drakonid they also showed in the video. Bulkier, bigger, muscular, charismatic, scary and noble. These are #$%^ing scalies from furrafinity... Nobody but a super minor community asked for them. I refuse to get THAT thing instead of Naga or Sethrak. That's a no, period.
I'm gonna hold off on the excitement. I was, like many people might have been burned after the worgen female was revealed and then everyone put their two cents in. Alpha model perfect as far as I was concerned. picked out my hair, eye color, and fur patterns (?), a name saved and then they revealed the final product. I was less than thrilled. While I'd adore a bulkier look for the new race I'm not gonna hold my breath and that this is already THE final product. I also don't see why we have to go into beast mode for combat, seems like the humanoid form is going to be just as unique looking, feels like an easy fix to use regular casting animation for most of the attacks, and just do the demon hunter transform thing when they use a Dracthyr special ability like the dragon breath. Still looks impressive just would like more options for my game play.
ngl I would actually prefer to stay in dragonman form outside of combat as well, hoping the armor looks nice in that one
