The current PTR state of the monk staff -> Relic V boosted Lesser magic wand shuffle is totally broken as it currently stands on PTR, it is just a license to print gold and needs to be fixed or it will cause massive inflation. @warcraftdevs #goldmaking #shadowlands pic.twitter.com/bkokHOn0sL— Wooraah (@Wooraah2) October 3, 2020

I think if they want to have any effect at all they must do both, people have already spent days stock pilling essences. My fears are blizzard are either far too busy with shadowlands to deal with this or they just don't care.
they've already added "curing salt" to the reagent list to craft the Relics of the Past. As an example.. Relic V currently costs 7 Stonehide Leather and 25 Curing Salt making any sort of flipping not worth it. Everyone chill out lol.
Sell price should always be equal to the BASE item, boom. fixed.
It is literally ruined, sell for whatever u can get on the mats to minimize your losses. I already lost 1M on it and now I'm desperate selling for whatever I can get on it. The last one to leave turn off the lights please.
Dont risk coin you cant afford to lose, im not worried about ther nerf. I found a profitable way still.
For those of you wondering why the upgraded items vendor for so much, the vendor price is based in part on item ilvl. Since the upgrades increase the item's ilvl, the vendor price is automatically increased. Any other method would be ridiculous, as it would require a person to manually set the vendor pricing of every single one of the tens of thousands of items in the game.
No drama here. The items will be made disenchantble. Reducing the vendor price would be using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. You don't fundamentally alter a system because of a glitch.
