These cores are far too expensive.Besides buying these there are also the corruption effects to save Echoes for. If we are to get Echoes for both we have to farm the currency from every possible source, that will make the game be without hesitation a second job. This is not to mention doing all of this again on alts. The amount of time consumed for that is simply unthinkable. Of course you can do it on one character perhaps, but in reality you will get burnt out in the end.Reduce the cost to 500 Echoes maximum.
My cloak was at 83, I'd already gotten a core from visions, and I was worried reading comments here..1. Open MOTHER's buy dialogue2. Open your character sheet3. Open your bags4. Buy the core5. Type /use Malefic Core in chat6. The cursor turns to the "use" hand - click on your cloak7. Repeat steps 4-6 without closing MOTHER's buy dialogue.I was able to apply 2 cores, leaving me 3 short of the corruption cap (which hopefully should drop later from N'zoth if that isn't bugged too - if not I have only 1 more week to wait to cap).I can confirm that after taking my cloak to 89, then closing and re-opening the buy dialogue, I could no longer buy cores from MOTHER.

Well, I *was* able to see the core on my druid when it was at 86 rank, but figured I'd do a vision first for the core before I bought any, applied it to get 89 and now I can't see the core anymore from mother to buy :)Can only assume this isn't intended, unless blizz somehow only want you to catch up to the point of actually being able to cap it with the vision and doing n'zoth (so -6) and while that would be really, ahem, dumb...it "would" be very blizz-like!
I just bought it, clicked on it in my bags, clicked my cloak and <poof> +3 extra resistance. Whatever the issue Was, it seems to work fine as of 6:10am CST 6/25/20.
