a videogame = developed so it can be playedthese mounts = surprises camping rare while minimized and reading about the shortcuts that can get you a mount= not playing what was developed & not being surpriseddivide by zero
this kinda sucks btw
Dont know why people is suprised about this. Anima conductor stuff is clearly meant for the home faction. Logical. It also encourages different faction alts.
Bastion has no Kyrian only mount drops? Blizzard betrayed us. :(
Collecting the mount adds the mount to your collection, but only character that are in that specific covenant are able to mount it. You can always change back to a covenant you like if there is a specific mount you wish to enjoy.
Can't understand Blizzard's need to segment all the content in this expansion. Imagine if in Legion only Druids could do most of the content in Val'sharah, earn any of its toys, get the rep mounts, and et cetera. Class Halls would be a nuisance shuttering off the expansion instead of a feature.I mean it's insane that you can stumble across cool rare things in the world and not be able to interact. These things should at least be limited to Covenant areas so players don't have prizes waving in front of their faces to be taken away all the time, considering you are PUNISHED for switching to get them and playing alts doesn't even actually let you use the content on your main.
Funny story. I was on my Alliance S-Priest and Sundancer spawned i had a glider and was running up the cliff to jump on him and got knocked off my mount by mobs but a hordie zipped past me and jumped on Sundancer and brought it down. We killed it and i got the mount not sure the Hordie did. I am curious if having the glider in my bag helped my chances of getting it?--Also side note i had killed Sundancer on 4 other toons that day (none had the glider) and none of them got the mount but EVERYTIME the person who mounted Sundancer got it.
if you checked your in game mount collection, for a lot of these mounts it was already stated that it requires a certain covenant. after i got the bat mount on my venthyr character 3 times (5 now) and my NF friend 0 times, we did some searching, checked threads and came to the conclusion that obviously these mounts must be covenant restricted as it was already listed as a requirement for some of them... nothing mind blowing here people. it makes perfect sense to have these restrictions as well.. or you probably want to be able to buy all the cosmetics of the other covenants just like that too right because its not fairr...
Wish I would have known this earlierStill, better late than neverThanks wowhead
I get some of the restrictions, but it really cuts down the "content" for people. SL has put an end to camping rares for a lot of mounts unless you want to level characters in all the covenants. Not really worth it in my opinion.
Can we get some clarification if any of the battle pets work the same way? Like the pet from Orstus and Sotiros at the Citadel of Loyalty that requires a Kyrian to summon? Says in the comments that anyone can loot it, but can anyone confirm non-Kyrian can loot?
