One of nice and little known things I've noticed about Dun Morogh invasion:Briz Blastbolt when talked with tells us that Airfield is under attack. Plane near him seems like it's waiting to take you there, but no such interaction is avaible. Still, if you get on flying mount and fly there on your own, there is around hundred of demons waiting for slaughter, with around 5 or more Lieutanants (would make an excellent leveling spot for organized party with flying).
Felbat pup will be removed? Or vendor will be removed? I bought 40 for later selling;)
No items are actually removed from the game when the source is removed. It means that future players cannot acquire the item by original means, and have to hope the item is BoE and on the AH.
The HP of vehicles is appropriate for a lvl 100, so if you're a low lvl stuck in a pvp realm, hopping in one will prevent you from being one-shotted by stray aoe and also makes you deal modest (as opposed to none) damage to players of the opposing faction. They are also good if you want to contribute to boss killing very casually – since most of them don't do really big damage it's difficult to steal threat even from NPCs plus you're at a safe distance. Most of the vehicles spawn in same places always, so shame there was no map for that, and all zones (afaik) have vehicles for both factions, a vehicle for your faction usually sits near an area associated with your faction (such as the Lorekeepers place for Alliance in Azshara). Also people don't often notice that the Dwarven tanks have a separate seat for another player for the mounted cannon! My fav vehicle is the gnomish spider thingie (since I always wanted to have it as a mount, given the general scarcity of mechanical mounts in game). The guardian NPCs which you can rescue are really helpful if you are just wondering around soloing mobs (not very efficient, but I did this as a way of relaxing). Also there are various "secret" bosses which do not appear on map, which award nethershards and xp equivalent to the bosses that do appear on the map.In Hillsbrad there's also Potion of Bubbling Pustules which gives you a debuff that I think is just a flavor one.You can see that each area was approached individually, with NPCs associated with quests crying for help or fighting the invaders, or for example in the airfield area in Dun Morogh large number of demons stand in formation being mustered by named boss-demons. The NPCs also comment your victories or spawning enemies in an area with texts that reference their personality or related quests (see Maximilian of Northshire in Tanaris, hilarious as always). All in all, if you look beyond "how to get xp the most efficient way" and just explore - you find things! You can tell that devs had fun designing these invasions.
Any note on the exact time of Legion release? I get the date just trying to gather the time for it.
yep it will release at 12:01am PST and 3:01am EST
It looks like you missed a couple of the consumable items you can loot from the crates in Hillsbrad. I just found Battleguard's Sharpening Stone and Fel Sharpening Stone in a few of them.Edit: Found another item from the crates Potion of Bubbling Pustules
No mention to Commander Jerrodenus and his Hadouken or Drill Sergeant Magnus and his absurd sword? Really? I'm disappointed at this list.
You forgot Katrina Turner in Gadgetzan
The Talrendis Ancient from an early quest in Azshara also makes an appearance during the zone's invasion. If you manage to rescue him, he will walk along the edge of the nearby mining pit, crushing demons as he goes.
There's a battle priest cowering near some carts in Azshara that you can rescue who'll fight alongside you.
Gates of Orgrimmar does have 2-3 different vehicles you can grab...
