Drop rate is fine .. There’ll always be players who go ham (making/deleting new Evokers) for that little bit of extra power.
legendaries should always be a long pain in the ass quest like shadowmourne or almost impossible loot like the glaives. simple as that, you dont get to use it when its meta oh well i didnt get corrupted assbringer. and this isnt the same debate as transmog so dont even bother
Although I didn't play in wrath I like the idea of the wrath/cata legendary acquisition as instead of rng it was just a raider priority although I get how it would be rough to pug for it. But I do still think its good for not everyone to get the legendary as it will no longer feel special.
A triumphant roar echoes from atop the Seat of the Aspects as Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy is formed.
there's no reason to make legendaries based on some random rng drop, that does not make it fun for ANYONE involved. if you guys continue to put leggos out in the game, they should be questlines or something like previous legendaries (wod ring for example)
Give us a quest to get X number of Sark kills (similar to a raid skip quest) which will reward evokers with the quest-starter gem and make it worth our time to log in each week.
Not everyone needs to have a legendary, relax. That's why it's legendary.
I always thought that legendaries should be rare, and it's not like they are so brokenat least you have a legendary to acquire, I would swear DK would have a legendary in Shadowlands too (something between Lichking and Anduin's Weapon or even the transmog)but no, legendary hunter in Shadowlands
The irony. For years players have complained "legendaries aren't legendary anymore". So Blizzard makes a legendary vastly rarer than other items, and now the mythic players are complaining that the item is too rare and they aren't getting it often enough. I find that hilarious.I really hope Blizzard don't nerf the drop rate at any point. It should be rare. It should be very difficult to obtain. Max complaining because he can't obtain the advantage for his evokers for next tier, while potentially pushing discussion and change that would be detrimental for every other player in the game.Furthermore, I found it funny when Preach said during Shadowlands with the whole covenant ability discussion that "mythic raiders aren't the big bad enemies pushing bad changes", yet here we are, with max advocating and suggesting a higher drop rate for legendary items, at the expense of every other player.
It's loot. If you want it go out and earn it. It may never drop and that's OKAY. I have had gear as simple as a ring that should drop very often that I've wanted and given myself every chance to get it never drop for me. And that is okay, it's how the game works. I can want gear, but am I entited to the gear? No absolutely not. You are not entitled to one drop in the game that follows the random drop formula. If it's random it's random and planning around gear that isn't in your bag is playing the game incorrectly. You play the game with what you have, not what you don't have.If you try and play the game in an unintended way, and wind up frustrated that's on you and you alone. Setting yourself up to have a bad time and succeeding only to later complain is ignorant.I'm hunting this legendary and have given myself more chances than a vast majority of the people who are complaining because I get the content done regardless if I have it.All the crying I see is just from people who truly do not understand the game.
"Not everyone should get it." "The drop rate is fine."Idk If yall were dropped on your heads as kids or yall just have no life and wanna brag about pixels but yall are insane and the reason majority of our players left for FF14.
A twiumphant woaw echoes fwom atop the seat of the aspects as nasz'uwo, the unbound wegacy iws fowmed!but on a serious note, the whole concept of speed leveling/gearing/clearing/deleting/redoing this to get chances on the evokers is so whack to me. that takes some mega dedication, genuinely. i know all those exp buffs are active right meow but whew that's a lot of work to be grinding the last 10 levels for this reason.
Wait the roar is when someone (presumably in the region) gets the component to start the legendary? There’s just no way that many are lucky since it’s become a meme to see how often it’s spammed and yet we have articles like this about the lack of drop rate.
Having an ilvl 486 equivalent weapon, which not only would be bis this tier but also next tier, be purely random drop is not enjoyable game play. Please add some way to actually earn progress towards obtaining this weapon, whether it be being allowed to farm that extremely low drop chance on the same evoker more than once a week, or having some sort of bad luck protection added. Having to create an army of new evokers to have additional chances at the legendary should not be the best way to obtain this item.Blizzard has said they wanted to correct past mistakes for example with the bow off raz being so impactful/rare and not being able to obtain it making you play a substantially worse version of your character, especially when they balance around your character having that item.
can we get something like FF14 does for rare mount drops? Every kill gives a token, at 100 token you can buy the mount, or you get lucky and it drops beforehand.it basicly hardcaps the number of runs you need. 100 kills or a lucky drop beforehand. Now do this for any super rare/legendary items
Not in support for bad luck protection.Knowing the exact drop rate only creates discussion.Even very rare items in raid face the similar situation as legos (Acquisition on 1st kill on a new char, or never at all for the whole season).
