Now the question is - does Blizzard undertune Mythic Nathria to enable the world first race to finish during the first week?
makes sense to me! the game will still be there after the holidays, enjoy them :)
Totally make sense, seeking the greater good above a group of people asking that everything be delayed for their own convenience.
Being the easiest Shadowlands raid it would make sense it's cleared before reset.
I know I will be level 60 in the first week of the xpac (I'm a quest reader/slow leveler), but I can't avoid to feel very rushed to be leveled and geared up and ready to raid only 2 weeks after launch... And in a very IRL busy month. :c
release the game as its on now but is it possible to delay the progression later ? its not like that all people will be over geared for raids as shadowland will be giving less drops. i personally dont have any problem with the raid date or anything in fact it is best date for me but for people they all have some irl things to do. so maybe is it possible in jan 1st week ?
This raid release is the perfect thing to filter out two kinds of people.Which WF guild is made out of the biggest nerds that will choose the raid over Christmas,Which people don't believe in the pandemic and will spend Christmas with 10-20 people in the same room for days.Personally i am completly fine with this release and i truly hope and wish Blizzard won't change it
I think some people here overestimate how little of the playerbase would be affected by this schedule. Most people will play when they can, and prioritize family during the holidays even if some game just released.Sometimes you cant have it all, and you have to pick one or the other.
To Delay or not to Delay thats the Question either Solution will piss off peopel! In the End who cares the Universe doesnt circle arround the WoW especially if you are not racing for World First.
Dude, if you cant raid its ok, there are vacations, not everyone spent the time raiding(hc), actually more people will be raiding on that dates are also enjoying the game, probably just not the hardcore ones, but who cares? Jessus
Guys, here is a wild idea. How about you maybe, possibly miss one or two weeks of raiding in your life?I know, it sounds absolutely insane, who would dare to miss a week or two of raiding to be with family right? Who in their right mind would even conceive not doing one of the over 100 weeks you'll have to do stuff?I know it's crazy, but maybe it is a possibility? I'm scared I was able to think of something so outrageous.
Dec 8th game release and early Jan raid release was the logic choice, but Blizzard and logic are not good friends
Its fine. It's just a video game. Play the game and be happy.
This release schedule makes absolutely no sense. Why would you release the game during the week of Thanksgiving in the US? Why not just delay mythic raid release until January if you don't want it to interfere with holidays and tune the raid accordingly? Why does the raid HAVE TO release 2 weeks after the expansion launch?
It's like you can't take a break from the game when you want or when it's needed. The amount of stupidity here is astounding.
Hard core players are now mad cause casuals can play more over holiday break and be closer to them in gear level
Most Guilds worried about the "Race" and being "first" don't have jobs or attend family events over Christmas anyway, I have watched their streams haha
I think launching first week december and then doing 2 weeks till N/H raid then2 weeks till mythic would be so much better Literally one week diff and less screwed holidays
No, I'm in a guild that clears mythic (CE if possible) on a 2 day per week schedule. It still messes with us.Releasing the game Dec 7 then delaying normal / heroic to Dec 28 and mythic Jan 4 seemed to be something that made more sense. Is it really that big of a deal to wait 1 more week for the raid and Blizzard just tune the raid around the fact that players will have 1 extra week (3 weeks total of prep time) vs 2 weeks of prep time?Instead we'll have people worrying about if they can keep up with their characters and weekly maintenance over blizzard releasing the game in a timely manner before Activision earnings calls so it looks good for investors. F the players who have busy lives during the holiday season like most people.Great decision Blizzard.
