Here we go again with people thinking it's their right to be in any 15+ key they want. If I have a good 15+ key, I can pick and choose however I want, and if you happened to be my friend, then of course you get a special spot. This system is good for pugging, as it gives us an idea on how well said person performs in M+. Just like you don't want to do 3v3 arena matches at 2.4k rating with a guy whose average rating is 1.3k.If you don't like it, then do what I generally do and play with friends. It's also way more fun that way.
Idk how to explain this to you, but legitimately most of the playerbase are not running (and especially timing) 15's. You and most of the people in these comments, in discords and guilds etc are part of a higher tier of dedication and understanding of the game and I think that kinda warps the perception of what the average actually is. Most players aren't pushing that content and it is still actually challenging for most people trying to do KSM. Hell, 90% of people don't know to use their interrupts or cc, and don't know why they have defensive cooldowns. You think the thousands of LFR heroes who can't figure out how to use their abilities and stand in a certain spot are pushing up to +15?@#$ no, at best they're stalling out between 4-7 or hitting a hard wall at 10. For every 10 people who don't think of that as difficult content, there are 1000 who will never set foot in a +15, and another 1000 who will never even run a keystone. Your skill and accomplishments are not going to lose value overnight, and a good player who knows their $%^& will always be in hot demand. Also as it stands, even rio isn't a good way to tell if someone is ^&*! or not. You can't tell from score if someone uses their interrupt, cc, and cd's effectively (or at all), so you're still gambling your key even if you sift through someone's IO and look over their per-dungeon clears and scores.
Kinda wish blizzard wouldn't implement this and just leave us with Raider IO blizz always has a way of messing things up or making it way too complicated
There's a PvP rating system since TBC and before that, rank system. It will not be problematic if you're used to PvP.
wait, what color between 2400-3200?
and still no way to filter for specific key levels, like a range would be good
In the end it's just a number it doesn't matter if high m+ players have 6k next to their name or 3k...
It's not intended to be a replacement for raider io, it's giving players an in-game option, as the majority don't use external sites.
Would like a negative score for people that leave early of their own accord.
These are the same colors already in game if you check your highest keys per dungeon.
looking good so far
Anyone saying its "inflated" is kind of missing the point:This is *not* raider IO. Its a *different* system. Yes its based off of it, but its is *different* which means the ratings will mean *different* things because you're looking at it in a different system. It will require realignment to what the numbers mean, but that's not a bad thing. Its not a good thing either, its just a *thing* because its goes within the new system. That's all. But I guess its change, so people will complain. As always. *sigh*
