Who really cares about raid vault?M+ gives you waaaaay better gear anyway... i am wearing next to nothing from the raid...
This would be good threshold in current raid as well. Right now no pug groups want to try anything other than first 2 bosses on mythic so they wouldn't pollute their vault with loot from any other boss because of rare items on first 2 bosses. And I know mythic raid is not meant to be pugged but I remember before Shadowlands people would put in effort and sometimes kill 4-5 mythic bosses in pugs.
New news: You were stoked about the new affixes and raid gear nerf. Now celebrate because Shadowlands is coming back! And not the shadowlands for wimps! The S1 version where there was conduit energy and you couldn't switch covenants because that's what players (don't) want! Huzzah!

Am I wrong in assuming that most people who care about the raid vault slots also try to kill as many bosses as possible anyway, for more chances at loot? Assuming that's the case, then this change makes little impact.Even for the crowd that doesn't fit under that, this change really translates to 1 extra boss kill a week. During progression that could be a minor inconvenience, but when the content is on farm its just be a few minutes extra at most to complete the vault. Really, it's not a big deal. To some audiences there could be an impact, sure. But trying to act like this is a game-breaking event is a bit over the top, in my opinion.
People: You get loot way too frequently and the challenge is gone. I remember when you had to work hard to defeat bosses and loot was earned.Also people: I'm not getting loot frequently enough. I don't want to have to defeat bosses to get loot. I want to do the bare minimum and be rewarded for it.Blizzard can't win, lmao.
I can agree with this if they remove mythic lockouts.It is a bad system right now that the whole raid in a pug group can't refill if you're not a fresh group because no one wants to lose their mythic lockout to progression or the kills on the first bosses. This is especially true if the first bosses drop good gear, like the rare ring and trinket off Elrog and Council.
