OMFG another week scorched feet.... OF COURSE....
easy week time to get it
I don't find scorched easy and it's worst as caster, sometimes you pull more due to the jump and when you fall from the docks is the worst. Last week was very easy.
Scorched Feet is the only madness I find purely annoying and un-fun. Leaden Foot is annoying, but it's not necessarily un-fun. Having my character tossed around constantly (in and out of combat) especially off the side of that stupid bridge in valley of spirits which is just a little too high to jump directly back onto.. Just nah. (Guess who isn't a DH)
Yeah, as a hunter who sometimes pays too much attention to what he's shooting at, and not enough to his feet - scorched feet can be a PITA. I just make sure I line myself up before I start every pull with where I'd like to end up just in case. Leaden foot can be more of a pain depending on what your fighting - but at least that I can remedy ;P None of them are particularly hard though (as long as one pays attention ;P)
Scorched and Desynchronized both suck imo, but I’ll take just scorched over having Desynch on that list any week!
What combination of madness' for each vision are considered "easiest"? For me any combination the requires the least amount of attention is basically fine, but I am curios if a given set has been min/maxed.
Scorched feet is terrible for melees. Being kicked into things when attempting to avoid other things isnt fun.
Valley of Wisdom (on the way, check if gamon is up on the right building and if so, don't bother checking the other building, otherwise, pick up the other building buff. Kill both guards in front of Grommash Hold and check for the 'poison' pot at the hut) > Valley of Spirits > Jump down and take path behind Grommash Hold (easier packs to deal with. If you can, just mount rush over them and reset aggro) > Drag (you can avoid the 'Void Torrent' ability of the last boss of this area by putting the Trunk between you and him, while still being able to dps it from affar) > Valley of Honor (here you might want to use Lust/Hero).But, after the Bear boss, if you avoid the pack in front of bridge, and the bridge at all, just range pull the far top-right pack with a ranged attack, kill, jump on the water and get near the next mini-boss). On this Aqir, I rarely use dps cds, just keep close to it, and side-step AROUND it, you'll pretty much avoid all the swirls and his breath attack this way, while still dpsing.Essences like the Beam I prefer to use on the pack imediately before Rexxar, as the elite Aqir there does an annoying knockback and the Swarmleader aqir can stack poison on you and quickly get you stunned. On Rexxar, I'd advice you to have the Beamo Essence as major, it may even spare the use of Lust/Hero, pull as usual, use 1-2 DPS cds, as soon as ~2 boar come in, interrupt the first, stun the other while AoEing everything. As soon the other 2 come in, line all targets and Beam them up, you'll pretty much kill all the adds and take a whole chunk of Rexxar's HP, if not killing him. Some people tend to do Drag > Valley of Honor first, and use the Lust/Hero there, this way, it will be up again on Thrall. Valley of Wisdom is, IMO, the easiest Lost area from both cities. It's small, and you can even clear only 1 pack of mobs (excluding the first mob attacking Thrall's 'sister'), right next to the first boss (if you're ranged, try kiting him around, he won't be able to 'throw you', and chewing up any sanity from you, while you gain the whooping 200 sanity if you have the research unlocked, on his death).
Why does Orgimmar get the easy weeks? All I need is a 5 mask to Stormwind and I'll have my achievement but that mage quarter last week was just horrible for melee. Being blocked off by a circle of shadows with a fear but nowhere to run so you try to take the disorient but get feared anyways.
