"Zelling: Stop! ... I returned Derek Proudmoore to his family.Zelling: I could not stand by and permit such depravity to unfold.Zelling: You raised him as a Forsaken. But you planned to deny him his free will. To violate his mind. "Wasn't this in Baines Voice Over?
Epic. So when does the alliance get some choices?
So yet again player choice doesn't matter. Why emphasize these choices so much, time and time again as if they actually impact the progression of the plot is beyond me. It's not the fact that the choices don't matter but the fact that they are being advertised as if they do.
I like that line about how "I wouldn't trust to secure a kennel." He'd open the kennel for the highest bidder!
Yay, more choices! Can’t wait to see where this is going :-) Cool story!
Baine informed Jaina about Garrosh's imminent attack. Now he's siding with her again after raising her brother into undeath. Though he didn't bothered with Teldrassil or anything else.VERY, VERY Poor writing out there. He's nothing like his father. He's an alliance lapdog who needs to be killed off. But I think Taurens will now rebel against Sylvanas and thus they'll get their heritage armor.
I see “alliance players” (which seems an outdated concept honestly) complaining often about an absence of choice, but honestly, the reason the horde story has choices is because the horde has always had a problematic dichotomy of leadership and themes. The alliance doesn’t: They’re already the comfortably traditional fantasy hero faction. The “captain America faction” as Metzen once put it. The horde are and must be a non-evil player faction, and the entire point of BFA is to land them there. In order to do that, yes, you need divergent paths to lead the mess that is the modern horde in a narrative direction toward some kind of modernly marketable conceptual harmony. It’s absolutely and entirely possible for the alliance and horde to be two flavors of heroic, but to get there the horde needs more work than the alliance do.There isn’t room for a villainous player faction in this game in 2019. Sylvanas will serve the game better as something other than a player faction leader. She doesn’t have to die, but her exodus from an option for player allegiance is the very resolution BFA has promised to bring us.It’s time.
Can you turn Baine in if you haven't done the Saurfang/Sylvanas questline?I don't want to pick a side, but if siding with Sylvanas is the only way to get rid of Baine then I'll side with her.
Rip Baine
Still nothing for the Alliance ^^ ^^ ^^
