(steps over the puddle of melted rage dirtying the floor)This is my favorite micro-holiday so far (missed one or two, though). It's neat seeing everyone working together, joking and running around in a zone I haven't seen that many people in even when BC was new. I went and got exalted with my alchemist and my tailor for recipes I'll never use because it was fun shrooming it up for a day. :)
Great for monks. Show up, cast Effuse, channel Soothing Mist for five minutes while I read webpages.
Just a few notes for this holiday.Sporeggium stacks up to 100 times giving you a 200% healing buff. All collectable mushroom work on the same mechanic as the hidden wyrmtongue chests on the broken shore. They can be looted by 2-3 players before disappearing.Collectable mushrooms stay spawned for about 30 seconds before disappearing if they have not been looted by a player yet.First aid bandages do work on healing Fshoo. All in all it took me about an hour and a half to go from friendly to exalted. The grind can get a bit tedious, but it is much better then having to keep coming back and doing the dailies.
The real treat is when everyone stops healing just to wave bye to Fshoo when it hits 255.Bye, Fshoo!
I don't particularly care whether Blizzard makes getting the reputation easier, what bothers me about it is the thing a few others have pointed out: we were given the expectation that micro-holidays would not offer any ongoing tangible benefits beyond the event -- not pets, nor toys, nor mogs, nor whatever that has some element of permanence. Now we have to keep an extra close eye out for all the rest of them to see if there's some other way that Blizzard is delivering something contrary to that expectation.
I must say, this was quite fun :)I had revered rep and thanks to this event I got it to exalted very fast.
This is just great! I love watching how impossible to please the fanbase is.Balloon Festival: BLIZ YOU PIECE OF @#$% WHY DID YOU EVEM PUT IN GAME IF NO REWARD? YUR RUNINIG THE GAME!Glowcap Festival: BLIZ YOU PIECE OF @#$% WHY YOU PUT REWARD? YUR RUINING THE GAME!If you hate the game so much there are two things you should do: 1) Take your crappy attitude to the Official forums where you whining might actually get attention, most likely from an annoyed moderator. 2) If you hate it so much then quit. Stop acting like anyone is forcing you to play this game other than yourself. But you won't.
I love those microholidays. the reward is good enought because I know that if I miss it, I don't have to wait a whole year, I can just go there and farm it. And not just that, Microholidays were created with the concept of no reward, it is just a fun thing to do.about the complains, people quit the game but there is still a need to come read stuff to keep complaining. move on, please.
