Rofl, seems like a fun event.
it's a shame this was posted only a few minutes before the event started. Tell us more about the trading post's new items.
This is fantastic! Really excited for events like this that celebrate diverse aspects of our existence and experience in positive and uplifting ways. I wish my sub was still active so I could participate "in person"!And while we're all having to endure a steady stream of low effort, illogical naysaying, I'm actually thankful that Wowhead has kept the comments open so far! The way that these attempts to demean always dwindle into the same feeble, predictable, and easily dismissed cliches is a sign that change is happening slowly but surely. Plus, being able to chime in and offer support is so refreshing compared to scrolling down and seeing "Comments locked". I know the moderators will have to work extra to tidy up the nastier contributions from such mean-spirited gatekeepers, but that effort is appreciated!
its funny half the ones complaining over someones sexuality are the ones who might not even compete, let them ppl have fun bro
Runners can come too Discord and go to channel Warcraft Cares.......they have runners rooms set up for today....
Happy Pride everyone!I wish I caught wind of this before it started but I've been busy writing so I missed out this year.
Why didn't wowhead sell the pride pins this year? The pins you get if u donate 25 to the Trevor project. Anyone know?
It's not for me, nor do I agree with the lifestyle, but others lifestyles are not my choice, I can only choose mine. Whether we agree or not with what people do, we shouldn't attack each other, that goes for both sides. If we want to talk about issues, do it civilized, not in an aggressive manner, all that does is piss both sides off and gets zero accomplished. We can still be civil, and even friends, if we just respect the other's opinion, even if we don't agree. I'm old school and remember the days of being able to agree to disagree with someone and then having a beer with that person afterwards. The event has no effect on me in any way, so if people want to do it, have fun.
zesty
turn on warmode you cowards
The reason events like this exist is because of these comments... If people treated love as love and did not fuss, we would not have events like this to create awareness.
It's kinda funny how some people ask for tolerance yet they are the less tolerant group of people I've ever seen. For example, i got kicked from the Evoker discord simply because after they revealed that Emberthal didn't chosed a visage i left a message mentioning that i was glad that they excluded her from the inclusion agenda they were following all over Dragonflight. Apparently some people got so offended from this that they mass reported me to one of the woke mods to kick me. I didn't cared, and besides there are other ways to get into a discord server you been banned, but it still shows the kind of people that runs the Wyrmrest Temple discord server. And going to a rl example. A couple weeks ago. Here in Venezuela, and you can search this up. A guy in a mall nearly got beaten up by a crowd of pride protesters after asking them to behave because they were making too much of an scandal. The dude had to run to one of the stores wich they then procced to close the iron gate to protect him from the angry mob.So i ask again, where is this "tolerant" and "we are not hurting anyone" group they claim to be?. The way i see it, either you are with them, or you are a hateful person who deserves to be exiled and/or beaten up, there is no gray line with these people
I'm ni. I don't want this. I appreciate that it's there for others. I don't need or want to call attention to something as personal as who I find attractive.Edit; Only admitting it here so I don't get that obligatory "Well you're probably straight so you can't complain!"
Really fun event-- and a huge turnout!Disconnected at one point due to the sheer number of trolls. Thanks for hosting! :)
Inb4 mods censor me againI don't understand why we need to force so much focus on sexual orientation and gaming.
Think I'm skipping this year.
