Some good news finally. Of course that this acquisition wouldn't impact competition any more than Sony's acquisitions and exclusivity deals did. Hopefully this will go through soon.
Lots of people seem to liking this deal. I wonder how much they will like it when their WoW sub doubles in price because Microsoft need to recoup the over 70 billion dollars they spent on this whole ordeal.Monopolies are bad folks. It's a shame you will have to learn it the hard way.
I may be in the small minority, but I'm pulling for the regulators to side against this, just as hard as I can.The absolute LAST thing I need and/or want is to be any closer to needing a Microsoft ID to play WoW, or having WoW smashed into being Xbox friendly. If Microsoft acquires Blizzard, you can bet your sweet bippy that both of those things are on the imminent horizon.
Saying separately to like or hate separately:Sony are not stakeholders, they're angry neighbors. And MS already offered to buy them cake, basically.
About bloody time. Now we just need the UK.
Streaming / cloud platform is already the primary gaming platform for many young kids. Roblox has over 200 million active monthly users. A 10 year commitment is nothing considering the predicted post-console generation is still in school. MS know exactly what they're doing.
Wild that sony is crying about exclusives-
Well Guess china isn't the only one losing blizzard entertainment studios Services, bye UK. The CMA went against Bobbies world. And unfortunately he controls where WoW games go right now.
