Man, this story is beyond cheese at this point.I'm expecting this is all a run up to Zoval toasting Azeroth, Azeroth awakening and murdering Zoval with the Silithus sword. Then she'll regenerate in a Dr Who-ish fashion giving us a completely redone Azeroth to return to with all new graphics, creatures, a new game engine and...Ah, who am I kidding. 10.0 will be "World of Warcraft - Return to Azeroth" where we'll just go back to more of the same complete with a new mustache-twirling, cardboard villain to overcome.
This Expansion could have just not existed and no one would notice.
watch this end up rezzing galakrond from under northrend then wala we got a boss for the dragon isles xpac
I'm pretty sure the death of Argus is what disabled the Arbitrer.
Wow, it looks like Zovaal may actually be attacking the *planet* of Azeroth, instead of just the world soul. That's huge if true, because that would mean a Cataclysm-level world change. He's gonna absolutely smash Kalimdor and EK before he dies.
The boyking serves at the masters table, three lies will he offer you. What if one is how to beat domination and we get owned in the fight?
I think the original setting of Warcraft from the RTS games and early WoW were much better than these huge reality shattering storylines. I hope they're able to find a way to return to a more familiar and humble setting for 10.0.
i love that they keep saying he is this master strategist, and all this was according to plan ... but almost every end boss in every wow xpac says the same "it was all part of the plan" even arthas in ICC wipes everyone and says "this was all part of my plan"... can we get something that isnt along these lines please ... im not saying its bad but its kinda gotten to the point of laziness how the story of every single xpac has almost become the exact same ... some random event happeneds(opening of the dark portal ... twice... sylvanas ripping a hole in the sky)... bad stuff goes on(invaded by demons, horde, iron horde, you name it they probly invaded) ... we show up in some new place... we try to fix stuff but find out we cant right away(jade forest) ... stuff is timegated(this is more about the last couple xpacs) ... a 2nd random event pops up out of nowhere(trial of valor or crucible of storms for instance were kinda out of left field imo) ... then the real bad guy shows up (given he showed up a lil early this xpac) ... we start to fix things ... and then we find out things are worse than we thought(wrathgate for instance and id even say the whole tannan jungle patch as another example) ... and then we fight the big bad guy which somehow cures everything and causes another small issue which becomes the next xpac. this has basically been the formula they follow every xpac. while sure not to an exact T ... its pretty close im not saying its bad b.c the stories are generally good stories but what I am saying is its lazy and predictable at this point ... people want something new
The only twist I will accept that will make Zovaal worthy if it is a "You were the pawn all along" one
I’m sure at least some of you are DND nerds like me too. Imagine your DM ran a campaign where the big bad was a dragon who burnt villages and killed kings, after months of paying and beating the dragon the DM is out of ideas so he says “actually the leader the whole time was this rogue named Bill who poisoned the king, and he burnt the villages using gasoline and a crossbow that shoots flaming arrows. Now Bill is the person you should fear?
People on the internet will like me if I complain about the same tired things they do. Also, I'm gonna refresh fansites daily to see if there's any more news I could cry about, on account of how much I hate this broken busted game.
“Quick guys, we need to connect this back to Azeroth somehow!”
