Healing as a resto shaman, pugging 15s/16s...Sanguine Depths is by the far the hardest dungeon this week. The HPS requirement for the 1st boss boss room with brute + tick packs, prideful, and then the boss is insane. If you do not have the DPS to beat the 2nd smash on boss then you are likely losing some people and thats where things get ugly. The second boss I won't even comment, it isn't tyrannical week but with grievous it may as well be, you need prideful route and potentially lust. Any group that doesn't have the DPS to kill the add and limit the pulsing AOE damage is going to lose a body.Necrotic Wake isn't as bad as SD and is much more timeable than the SD, imo... however the issue is the pack before the 2nd boss, the 2nd boss, and then all the trash leading up to the 3rd boss. I have ran 15 NW 4 times this week and all 4 wipes were on something between those three sections, you really need coordination on interrupts for the frostbolt volleys or your group will explode. Kill the adds or CC them or you wipe on final harvest. On the trash leading up to the 3rd boss, the patchwerk mobs absolutely crush and if your tank isn't a guardian (facetanking lul) or kiting full time, they will fall over. The rest of the keys aren't so bad. Anything more than 1 melee and I don't feel comfortable timing: spiteful are just wrecking mobs and with some tough rotting packs and grievous it makes it easy for a close target to be picked off once adds die. Mists > Halls > Spires > PF > DoS > ToP > Necrotic > SD
Never pugging necrotic wake every again, literally every godamn group ends up pulling the stupid patrols and wiping
please nerf dungeons, the whole thing is stupidly annoying and with that nerf to item drop and even item level of end chest items it just not worth it to aim for dungeons...like when u clear a mythic+ on 15 the item level is lower than hc raid...
A lot of people seem to think grievous needs a nerf. I haven't found it too tough.Where I see the problem with it, is when a player dies during trash fights, decides to run back, and after release spawns with <80% health and stacks of grievous. I've seen dps who lack direct self heals die trying to run back, or need to sit to eat to try to shake off the grievous.
