Yeah, there's a N'Zoth eye underwater off the coast of Ohnaran too. It's the same one from BFA that was hidden near sunken treasure chest with some tiny tentacles sticking out. He's already with us.I've maintained this entire time that he's escaped into the blade that's gone missing. Maybe that sounded far fetched at the time, but then Denathrius literally did the same thing in the expansion that followed. Also, Interesting to revisit that line from Azshara now, After SL has concluded. How much did she actually know? Considering she left stating she was going to seek the "true seat of power". She said that back in BFA, and in context now it can only mean that she seeks to invade one of the Zereth installations - She was concerned about Sylvannas doing the same. My only question is, which one would Azshara be interested in? Void? Order? Life? Light?
N'zoth is the master of turning failures into successes. He's the kind of being that wouldn't put all his eggs in a single basket. It's likely he had some exit incase of emergency. Blizz likely left enough open just incase they wanted to go all out for old gods.
I think it would be a perfect plan to have Xal'atath free of the soul within, so the blade is ready to absorb a new soul/essence.That could explain why N'Zoth let the blade get into the hands of Azshara and finally Wrathion, so that upon being stabbed, a piece of N'oth was transferred into Xal'atath. Something that was able to survive the fight and his defeat when we blasted him with Azerite from the Heart. And on a side note: I always wondered how Magni could say that Azeroth is free of the Old God's grasp. The Titans imprisoned them, but actually killing an Old God means great harm for Azeroth due to the Old Gods being so deeply rooted into her, as Y'shaarj showed them. So, how can punching C'thun's eye, and Yogg's mouths actually defeat them that easy? I always thought we merely defeated an avatar of their power, but the 'real' Old God itself still remains within the prison.Especially C'thun might have a perfect time for eyeballing things as Sargeras stabbed Azeroth exactly in Silithus. That was no coincidence. Also, C'thun once fought the dragons in the War of the Sands (or something like that). Sargeras always wanted to free the planets from the Void, so wanting to make sure that the sleeping entity deeply hidden beneath Silithus actually gets destroyed makes perfect sense to me. It was the last thing he could do before being sucked away to fight Mr. Stormrage. Maybe, if he was in a different position above Azeroth, he would've stabbed Northrend instead? Just to hit any remaining Old God, no matter which one. No matter the cost.
Naw N'zoth is dead. The last bit of Nightmare in the dream is GONE
I would like this to be true and nzoth get a proper patch/expansion. Then again if this is true, the whole nozdormu/murozond stuff doesnt make sense. Inevitability for one but not the other is kinda eh meh.
I, for one, praise N'Zoth my lord and savior. And I will happily retain his blade within my priest's inventory.
If you thought the entity in the dagger was bad, wait until you see the one in the sword.
I don't buy into the idea that N'zoth coming back. Mainly because, that wasn't N'zoth's voice...My theory is that we're gonna go back to the past version of Ny'alotha again, but not to fight N'zoth.. We're gonna fight Y'shaarj in his true form before he gets destroyed by the Titans and we see the fracture that Y'shaarj's death has caused to the planet. Even if they decide to regurgitate N'zoth, they'd have to change his past design and his boss fight to be different than the one we fought in BfA similar to what they did with Ill'gynoth for the Emerald Nightmare and Ny'alotha.
That's all very interesting and stuff, but you're forgetting that this was pre-Shadowlands. It involved Sylvanas. The reasoning behind this is thus: SCREEEEEE. JAILOR. SERVE DEATH.
I bet that big sword sticking out of the planet eventually releases whatever 'Azeroth' is as an entity in the future.
This is why people on Reddit don't write stories. They aren't even smart enough to read the quest text on how we obliterated him with the forge of origination. The WoW subreddit truly has some of the biggest @#$%^s, not only does this get posted it gets upvoted. And people praise it. Bunch of wanna be writers.
Eh . . . this was discussed extensively in the lore forums back in BfA. It absolutely makes sense that at least part of N'zoth is now trapped in the dagger.
