two weeks ago, Blizzard announced a mid-season patch that was slated for a late October release.
So far, we know about two features being introduced to Diablo 4 with Patch 1.2.1: first,
Target Dummies will be added
in a private local instance in Kyovashad available to all players. The other feature will be the full Paragon Reset button, a quality-of-life change widely requested by a majority of the community.
