Alliance Crest for Honor! D:<
What if you have 100+ Wintergrasp Commendation currently saved up? Do they get converted to the new honor points? If so, I'm about to get screwed . . .If I understand this correctly; no matter how many badges, old honor points or emblems you have stored/saved up before Cataclysm hits --> they will be converted to the new Justice/Honor points until you reach 4,000 points and the rest will be sent to you via in-game mail in the form of gold by the sytem? So what would be the point of stacking up all those badges, old honor points or emblems before the release of Cataclysm ?Is Blizzard trying to keep everyone on an even level and not break out with tons of better gear before the majority of players get Cataclysm downloaded?

This is absolutely awesome! I've been wondering whether to save my badges/tokens/etc. but now all my questions are answered. Thank you Wowhead team!
Is there any way for those of us who've been away a long time to see how many badges we left ourselves with? I can see my chars from when I left the game in Jan, but it seems it's been so long I'm not even in the armory anymore.
17k justice points atm... not badYou should write somewhere on the calculator page how much gold we would got for the extra justice and honor points, when the hard cap is introduced.
I haven't used any of these currency calcs yet, simply because I have no idea how much the "badge" items are going to be worth with the these points. If I knew, I would start grinding right away.
The points are now used on the PTR. For Europe atleast. Go check it out!
@NyteShady, just a minor correction before I address your comment - we, the mods, have nothing to do with this. The Currency Calculator, like all the other features on the site, are created by the developers who don't usually frequent the forums. It is (again, usually) Malgayne who conveys the information to them. This being said... The Calculator shows Triumph and Frost as both being worth 11 JP for me. If you've seen something else, it may have been due to a mix-up in the versions. Blizzard announced the new values just a couple of days ago, and the Calculator must have been in development for a few more. Also, you (and MMO-Champion you cite) are correct in mentioning that there are two types of currencies for both PvE and PvP. However for the purposes of this tool, we are interesting in neither Valor Points, nor Conquest Points. When patch 4.0.1 comes and all those conversions take place, you will not get any VP or CP - so they were not included. Does this answer your questions?
Not to mention, during the time that this calculator will be relevant, the other Points won't even be accessible. Once you're even able to acquire Valor Points or Conquest Points, the calculator will be obsolete and most likely removed. It's just a temporary convenience as it is.
so..... 38,715 badges of heroism and you'll be gold capped?
Well, apparently my previous topic wasn't original enough to warrant its own thread so lets try it here.I understand the information that has been posted currently, however I have no found out information in regards to current herroics. How much Justice Points will 80 heroics give in 4.0?I have an alt that needs t10. Should I grind heroics now, or will I get more Justice Points farming them after 4.0?
