Yes, the solution to the TR issue is to just make each season have a different currency, and to prevent TR from being granted from loot that was traded to the player (not looted by the player). They had this figured out years ago with conquest points being converted to honor points at the end of pvp seasons.
hmm then again I never gotten residum from anything else than Azerite armor in the first place, so not sure what this fixes.
Now I'm %100 sure that they don't even think before making these changes.
The roster pic by MethodJosh emphasizes how bad blizzards move of introducing monk as a separate class was.Disipline priests should have been the cloth tank as a monk and since classic I have been mad it isn't.
Azerite armor will go down as one of the worst ideas Blizz ever came up with.
In a typical Josh manner *Please grow brains. This is Pathetic*Hahaha I love how wowhead always tries to sooth his comments XD
This would easily be fixed by adding something along the lines of: "Looting Azerite pieces also infuses you with Titan Residuum". No funneling whatsoever. You (the looter) are granted the residuum from the pieces when looted instead of when destroyed.
When are they going to stop caring about people who play 16+ hours a day even when the game's boring? You think they enjoy this, also? No some people are just severely emotionally invested. Blizzard knows it and are milking it like warped therapists. They could delete hearthstones tomorrow and people would still be grinding. Unethical and scary. This doesn't effect the normal player at all other than make them play slower by a little bit. While if you ARE a top raider, you can play with other people all playing the same class and it's fine. Just so weird and stupid. I have to sit here for 16 hours a day if I don't want to take 8 weeks to get a specific piece of gear? Terrible design idea and I hope they feel terrible. The reward for your time spent is still *!@#, it's not even about being skillful anymore. It's just who can stay logged on the longest for the best possible outcome. Also, yes I'm aware 8 weeks is hyperbolic, but the amount needed for a specific piece compared to random piece of same item level is WILD. ~1k something to over 7000? I get not wanting to get people too strong for a new raid, but then again just tune the raid more seriously...like what maybe 5% harder with the gear people would get? ANDDDD people would be hype to get at least 1 piece of specific gear progressing into mythic. It's so damn simple, and not harmful the structure of the game other than "OOOH someone MIGHT get a world first a day sooner because of this gear". Such a dense mind set went into making BFA.
This is a change to fix things like this:We also need a LOT of heroic split runs to make sure the majority of people can get 2x 415 azerite. This starts @ wedensday 5pm CET with the 4 split runs race, should be fun to watch and come along if you want :) Perfecto, Scripe, Nnogga and Xerwo will start heroic Uldir at the same time with pugs, first to kill ghunn gets the entire raid gifted a sub to their channel + 20 random subs. After that pretty much every day we'll be spamming HC uldir as much as possible to gear the guild. Would be insane if people were willing to help and save lockouts. Like deepshades posted above, we also need many people for 7/8 mythic clears with the guild DM him for that stuff, not me : ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) )
Wouldn't it make more sense to fix the 'drop' issue? I continue to get pole arms when my spec is BM. Why, Blizzard, why?
They should just put a temp cap on TR of the highest current item if they rly are trying to keep it balanced.
And nobody but the devs who put this change in cares. Top guilds will still do stuff to stay ahead, the other 99% of the playerbase wasn't even abusing this system in the first place.Who are the devs balancing the game for?
So, for the rest of us casuals, this has near zero effect, right?
Just bring back masterloot as an option... for christs sake, it was a wrong decision obviously.
Let's punish and prevent millions of players from remotely benefiting trading loot for scrap/de for TR because a few of the worlds top guilds abused a hole in the system. Oh and let's theses top guilds that exploit it keep all the TR they stacked already. Just like Mythic+ Blizzard gave stealth detection to matrons of war in Underrot so now teams have to kill some of the trash instead of skipping the cancer that precedes the first boss, BUT the teams that got top scores on the leader boards to get to keep their time/score with a more efficient "method" (pun intended) that is now no longer allowed. Blizz lost 7 billion on Diablo Immortals announcement and Activision just lost Bunjie. How much money does a company have to lose associate with Activision before the players/consumers the majority of us get what we are all screaming and ranting for all over social media and forums. Keep allowing a marketing team to guide a games development instead of the gamers/developers that make the game and it will continue to die out. Look how many head figures have left Blizzard over the years.
