Here we go I guess, let the grinds begin!
I see no problem with this. Makes sense to keep power levels in check and not have TD style parses with a single conduit making up a significant portion of a player's damage just because they got lucky drops to rank it up quickly.
I haven't been lucky enough for SL beta so i have no idea how this feels. For those who do have the beta, how is this to you?
So there are going to be only five ranks at the start, and they will be obtainable through usual ways? Sounds really good, fifteen seemed too much. My biggest question is whether they are going to add new conduits in future seasons, because re-looting the old ones will be kinda... meh. I think at least one class- or spec-specific conduit should be added in every major patch, so that they would start at rank 6, rank 11 and so on.
This.... seems not so good.

They are really taking our progress slower and slower... Looks like another time played metric system. This is gonna be painful for casuals.
It's the same way we've always geared... you get gear from one level of content to continue on to another level....This is good if this is what goes live.
This is no different than farming loot drops, the difference being that conduits can drop in addition to gear loot. I like this.
Idk... all of this only raises more concerns. How do you prevent wasting your currency with Manifest Aethershunt? You could be upgrading conduits, and then loot them at rank 5 or higher, making your previous work entirely wasted. Why can't you just choose which conduit you want to upgrade with Manifest Aethershunt? Just sounds like another timegating element, which yet again has inevitable frustration going with it.
It's fine. Increasing your ilvl also increases the power of your conduits.
Half of the people who complain about these things in the comments dont even understand the article, its so easy to tell. Oh man
