Not accurate.I got a 184 conduit from the end chest of a +5 (Sanguine Depths). I also got a 210 ilvl Valeshroud Torque (neck) from the same chest (it was a 2-chest).
As long as the final two bosses in mythic don't drop the next tier up of conduits I'm good. If one specs' BiS conduit comes from that and another spec just doesn't have access to a higher ilvl version of their BiS that's going to really skew the balance.
Do all conduits have a chance to drop from dungeons and raids? I thought conduits dropped similar to essences and were spread among different content. What happens to conduits that may be Bis that aren't available from raids and dungeons? How will they scale?
Are conduit drops based on loot spec?
All the Conduits available from what looks like PvE-only sources better be available from PvP sources as well. Can't stand doing more forced PvE when we've been complaning about it for 2 expansions straight and all PvErs have to do is say "pls make it so we don't have to PvP for the conduits" and zimzalabim and it's fixed.
So, as conduits scale with ilvl, and the max ilvl you get is from mythic raid, which is 226 (besides the 233 from the last two final bosses), is it possible to conclude that the Patch 9.0 will be divided in two halves? Being the second half to contemplating the others 8 conduits (max ilvl 330). Or maybe they will pump the firsts 7 conduits for a high start and then will divide the other 8 into the rest of the expansion, with (maybe) the other 4 (possible) major raids in the other zones (Revendreth to Ardenweald, to Maldraxxus, to Bastion, to, finale, Maw)?I'm just speculating a theorycraft, ofc, but would be good to have notion of what will be the type of power creep and gear permanence we should expect in this expansion.
