As for the more hyperbolic speculations, I offer Grey's Law as an explanation: "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice." To these fans, how WoW is currently run has reached that state, and I am sorry to say that I can't really blame them for such thoughts. As a counterpoint, the game is showing its age badly. The code is a mess by now due to years of addition/subtraction. The devs could be neither negligent nor malicious; they simply passed the internal memo around: "X cannot be done. The code is so messed up."
I have a strong feeling he rage quit, can't blame him."Abandon ship!"
Huh. I wonder why he left.Sucks.
It's the dev team who needs the restructuring, not the CM's who just get shafted relaying all the bad news of stuff that's been cut, or won't be as advertised.
really didn't need to see that, Rankkor...
its a haunting image from SoO. There's also darkspear trolls nailed to the posts too. All in all, SoO was quite easily the darkest raid in wow as far as I'm concerned.
Hopefully you get employed by a better company this time around, buddyboy. Good for you for moving on.
It's a shame to see him go. He's an individual I've generally thought of as reasonable and level-headed, making him an excellent CM if not always one who was liked when it came to being the figurehead who delivered bad news. I guess that could be said about most CMs in general though. I know I'm late to this (I saw it the announcement on r/wow a few days ago), but I wish him the best.
