Even if you use it, there is not a single chance for a ban, its no abuse or exploit. People farm an item that is ingame and use it for whatever reason. Devs can prohibit it, if they feel it should not be intended. Cheating, exploiting a bug or hacking are bannable. Just enjoy until it lasts.
It's going to get a duration that just makes it expire before you'd ever hit Naraxas. Easiest fix they can do, even above just removing the item or making it not usable in Dungeons. Literally just drop the Duration to like 5 or 10 Minutes. On the other hand, it's pretty telling how bad the damage intake still is on this Boss, less so because of it being a healing check in itself, but rather that you have constant rocks going out randomly. Pairing a tight check with RANDOM, also pretty high intake spikes is just !@#$%^ed beyond belief. Likewise, though the Nerf will happen, imagine if it stuck around and solving encounters can sometimes also mean just finding an unlikely solution out in the Game's World, regardless of when or where. The lack of proper meaning for 90% of the Game World any given expansion can technically be fixed very easily by giving us reasons to interact with it, yet anything that does make us do it, usually involves an Exploit of some kind for the boring af, overdesigned "current" Content.
Considering how things like this have gone lately, most likely will see a hot fix with something like a 20% damage debuff soon. Its too bad, I quite enjoy quicky weird loopholes like this. Atleast we can still use our archaeology relics in Vortex Pinnacle.
I think stuff like this is actually cool, makes the game feel more like an RPG. But since the game is balanced around the top 1% players and esports, it will get promptly removed.
This boss is way too intense to heal on Tyrannical weeks. It lasts like 4 minutes and on high keys the dot ticks for 100k every 1s for 5s while you got Rancid Maw for 200k and Hurtling Rocks for 150k.Stacking poison cleansers reduces the healing requirements down significantly and feels like a necessity.
can the dungeon be timed on tyran AND fort at +20 or any lower by all group compositions possible in the game? if the answer is yes which it is then the dungeon is fine.tuning is perfect. and you do not need to cheese a 17yr old item into it.if you are doing 21 or higher and its hard and you need to cheese it. fix the cheese, the whole point of the higher lvls is to reach a point you cannot pass. comp by comp, until no comp or key is achievable . this is the purpose of infinite scaling keys and not all keys will be the same. some will be doable at 27 and some only at 25 this is how it works deal with it
I don't think this counts as an exploit, in that it's not really being abusive to the mechanics, so I don't think anyone should be BANNED for using it, unlike certain other ones, but I do think it's still something that SHOULDN'T be there. i thought they already made sure all old legacy items stop working past a certain level though, I guess this one was missed because it had a timer so it couldn't be stored or sold.
This'll get fixed and the dot will be nerfed as compensation.

This has been around since vanilla, people on classic where using them for vicidus the whole time AQ40 was live, and even when people recleared during naxx.
