Knew they were gonna make this a zone finally....They can't hold people back with just a gate once flying is allowed in Vanilla. Deffinately looking forward to this one.
Hm, although I had hoped for more screenshots, the storyline does sound promising.I can see that Mount Hyjal's terrain will change massively, though! Right now, it's almost exactly the same as the Mount Hyjal Raid instance, except for the facts that the Alliance and Horde bases have become giant craters, and that Archimonde's skeleton is tangled in Nordrassil's roots...They should keep him there to be honest, as a testimony to their victory. Plus, it looks pretty cool.

He might be in the Firelands instance, and we're just seeing the start of stuff here, too early to tell about Thrall.
I am seriously loving the stuff with the Ancients. I remember reading The War of the Ancients Archive (all the book in one volume) and it was pretty awesome when Cenarius and the other gods/spirits/demigods/etc of Azeroth went into battle. Although I do remember reading that Malorne died in the battle for Hyjal... unless this is another one of Blizz's "let's change the lore for teh lulz" moments.Edit: In response to above posts about Thrall, in an earlier Cataclysm lore preview, Thrall was said to be the next Guardian of Tirisfal, which is the whole reason he's handing Warchief of the Horde over to Garrosh. He can't do both jobs, and he's the best suited to be the next Guardian. It's completely possible that he could be in the Firelands, since that is a major threat to Azeroth, and major threats are what the Guardians were meant to deal with.
fewyn, I think this image from Blizzcon was what you were thinking about.. There's a signature (at least, it looks like one), but it doesn't look like Samwise's when compared to other art that with clearer than it (like the Icon of Technology). On topic, I think I might start there (assuming that there will be multiple starting zones like Wrath).
That sounds pretty awesome really. Also, "Your successes in Hyjal will ultimately lead you to the assembly of the Ancients, who have set a plan in motion to bring a powerful ally and demigod back into this realm." that sounds Cenarius to me.
He is not dead. His physical form was destroyed by Grom. But his spirit live in the Emerald Dream.
Hm, you know, for those who said nothing about Thrall.... in that same vein, nothing about Malfurion yet either, I don't think we know the full thing.
The turtle god Tortollus? I don't know why, but that sounds awesome.
