"Literally no reason." She attacked his kingdom, sacked his city and killed his son. Yes, she was ordered to attack by Garrosh but I doubt Genn cares about that. Plenty of people have been claiming that Sylvanas is the same kind of war criminal as Garrosh because she burns down Teldrassil. The problem with that line of thinking is...We don't know if she orders the burning. We do know she orders the first strike, and claims she wants to capture the tree, but we don't know who lights the fires. Sure, if she never attacked than it likely would have never burned but that is far different than deliberately using a weapon of mass destruction on a town full of civilians. We need more information.
Oh well, at least this finally justifies #notmywarchief rpers, something people assumed ludicrous because #sylvannasCanDoNoWrong crowd.
Now I love Saurfang even more. He didn't forget what honour means for the Horde and hasn't a blind loyalty for a current "warchief". Maybe he will be a bridge between Alliance and Horde in making a peace. /honour
Horde player here o/The last thing I want from all this is Siege of Orgrimmar II: Forsaken Boogaloo. I would like to think Blizzard will give us a Warchief that will last for more than one or two expansions, and I think Sylvanas is too popular with the fan base to kill off. What I'm thinking is, Vol'jin said before he died that the spirits chose her to lead. Maybe when the Horde recruit the Zandalari, more will be revealed. Maybe she'll have a revelation when she encounters Rastakhan, Bwonsamedi, and/or the spirit of Vol'jin himself.Maybe then she can finally have some manner of redemption story arc, instead of infighting, Garrosh II, #NotMyWarchief etc.One can only hope, eh?On a more cheerful note, how GLORIOUS is the Kul Tiras Human facial hair?
It's kinda funny to see just how many assumptions are being made of Saurfang based upon so little information. We have literally no idea what is to come after this. None. Admittedly, with Blizzard we unfortunately cannot be too sure anymore that they won't completely ruin his character... but I still have a hard time believing Saurfang would truly betray the Horde. He's been part of it from the very beginning, he was one of Blackhand's lieutenants back on Draenor. He has seen the Horde and been part of it when everything they did were so much darker. From a character standpoint I kinda understand his choice, as someone said he made the choice Nazgrim was too loyal to make: Not blindly follow a ruthless or maniacal (depending on who you ask) warchief. He's grown, in lack of a better word, 'wiser' to make the same choice/mistake again. As I said, we have literally no idea what is to come. Saurfang joining the Alliance, as someone briefly mentioned? Lunacy, in my mind. Someone else suggested he might have a hand in recruiting the Draenor orcs to the Horde. We'll see where it goes. We can, after all, hardly do anything else...
Eitrigg will be the one to recruit the Mag'har. Saurfang can be elevated to a neutral position and chill out with Khadgar until the Old Gods make an appearance again. Then there may be a need for Saurfang, not just as the Supreme Commander of the Might of Kalimdor, but perhaps of the whole of Azeroth's forces. All you who like Sylvanas may disagree with Saurfang's choice. But, you may never disrespect him.
Saurfang really has become a pathetic old wretch. A single insult was enough to turn him traitor.
I'm with saurfangto HELHEIM with you sylvanas-worshiping cretins, burn in obilivion!
