GW isn't even technically a MMORPG, so I dunno if comparing it to WoW is necessarily apt.
I really hope Blizzard doesn't screw up the BC and Northrend questing areas. I think they are good as they are: enough xp, great story lines and also a lot of difference between the zones.A lot of the old Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms questing areas where pretty messed up. I'm glad they changed that, but the way it is nowadays doesn't appeal to me neither. Everything is way to 'streamlined', almost every zone is one big phasing area. You are constantly going from camp to camp and at each camp you complete about 3-4 quests and then you go of to the next camp.I remember before cata, that when you went at lvl 12 to the Barrens and you reached Crossroads it was like: Here are 15 quests, have fun completing them all. So that was what you did and just by completing all the quests and not turning them in yet, made you ding about 3 levels and another 2 for when you turned them all in.I want those days back where a zone didn't contain 10 different phasing areas.I will definitly give up on questing in WoW when they turn the BC and Northrend questing areas into zones like you see in Kalimdor and EK.
