Jaina/Varian? Eww! T/J 4 Life. (Will now commit sepuku due to being too nerdy to live.)Now, for something a bit more serious. I just love how everyone complains about Blizz not caring, being slow to deliver, etc. etc. I especially love when they make comments on misunderstandings. For the textures of classic and BC races, they did not say soon as one commenter implied, but rather they would do it when they both had the time, and when it would not cause a major disruption. It addition, the comment on world PvP being existent only in Daily areas confused me somewhat. Where else are you expecting the factions to meet regularly?
Considering how often changes meant to balance PVE performance for certain classes then creates imbalance in their performance in PVP, and vice verse, have the developers ever considered completely separating the two?Nethaera said:That’s a common solution proposed by our active forum participants for whom balance may be the single most important concern when they play. You have to put yourself in the mind of a new player just trying to pick up the game though. Already there are a bewildering array of class abilities and talents, many with their own idiosyncrasies or special rules. Now you have to virtually double that if you want all of the player spells to have a PvE and a PvP tooltip. We prefer solutions like resilience and diminishing returns on crowd control that are more global rules rather than virtually every ability having a PvE vs. a PvP coefficient. We want it to feel like one game with a unified set of rules.Guild Wars did this... all it requires is some number tweaking we arent asking for cleave in pvp to suddenly become an aoe spin we are asking for new numbers, they did it for hex didnt they... Guild Wars was the game that defined what balance should look like.P.S. the guild wars developer Arena net, was comprised of Diablo staff members who had there original idea for WoW shot down(they wanted to be something unlike eq and DaoC) they wanted something more tatical, thus Guild Wars was born
Grats on the blue text btw ;)
I would looooove to see some separate PvP trees. There is very little differentiation in my PvP Beast Master spec and my PvE Beast Master spec. Like 3-5 talents are different and that's about it. I'd keep them both as just one spec if my action bar setup wasn't so different.Try and separate the specs, a healadin on the other team and we are already sighing cause the match is going to take bloody forever... Unless we are lucky by chance and get a poorly organized team. I'm rather tired of the 40 minute matches because no one can kill each other when it's a healer/Dps team vs another healer/Dps team. Healers never go OOM and the fight just lasts forever. I'm getting more wins from the other team just giving up after 30 minutes. IT IS NOT FUN BLIZZ.My longest match to date has been 52 minutes and we lost finally. Both teams healers died at the same time. Go figure.
The proper place for the original BC, Northrend, Ulduar, and ICC instances should be in The Caverns of Time. Players can still do them, but it is clear they are all history.Replacement leveling 5 mans in Outland and Northrend need to be brought up to date.
