Actually the coins shouldn't be plated but solid. Back in the days coin forgery was done my mixing cheaper metal into coins, and the punishment for doing so was severe. Some forgers had their fake coins melted and poured down their throat, quite a cruel way to die. Later scientists and doctors got a detailed view of the human digestive system by metal moldings found in old graves. All in all I think Blizzard should rethink putting coins on the market that is only plated, hehe..
Holyyyy crap. I was about to say.
To put this into perspective, many of the drill bits we sell at Home Depot have diamond dust on the tip. You would think that would cost a fortune but the things can go for as low as $25 bucks, maybe even less, I'm not that familiar with the hardware department. So yea, a simple thin plating of precious metal is worth pretty much nothing. However, they are quite pretty, so if you have the money laying around and you want them that bad, feel free to get them. Far be it from me to tell anybody else how to spend their money.
Fewyn, you are an evil, evil person. Has anyone ever told you that? =3
You totally got me with the bogus title!
