Did Limit exploit N'zoth? debateableDid Blizzard ban/punish Limit in any way for what they did? No... What does that tell you? That this wasn't a big deal.Blizzard, Limit, and most people with a brain have moved on. The only reason this is "big" news is because of the region wide despawn. Could've been a GM simply panicking and entering the first command they could think of to stop an unintended world first. It was all fixed very quickly. People need to stop getting so salty over nothing.
It was obviously bugged, even the raiders can't argue that and I'm sure most of them, despite losing out on time on the boss, agree that wouldn't feel like the right way to get world first. No one was cheating because no one knew what to do next. They were trying anything at that point. It's still cool to see the Devs boop something out of existence.
The important thing here is... When are they going to reattempt it? Excited to see N'Zoth defeated today!
Damn, people really don't know what a exploit is oO
Okay...? So where's the glitch? It seems to me that they just forgot to add counter-measures to unintended behavior.
Method is working on N'Zoth again but there is no word on any changes or fixes, I guess both Limit and them will find out the hard way.
Well both Limit and Method (and im sure rest of the guilds aswell) took advantage of Ra-den's short respawn timer. Blizz could have gave them a day ban but opted to let it be like that for all the guilds this reset and fix it for the next (since most guilds will reclear because of gear anyway). The N'zoth thing isnt an exploit but more of a testing of what is gonna happen if they dont go there and what are they supposed to do. I dont think Limit would be happy getting a WF like that.
Just saying guys, yes it is an exploit, no it is not important.Limit did not get any ban or anything, the boss just got a reset alongside a hotfix so that players can have a better understanding of how the fight is supposed to be led.Why are some people getting so angry then ?
Top world first guilds are beta testing fights for Blizzard on live and finding bugs to fix them.Keyboard warriors on Internet are calling each other names and acting tough like it means anything to Blizzard or those top guilds.Thats the World of Warcraft that we play.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Does anyone actually think that Limit was exploiting? My guild got our first mythic argus kill because the boss stopped doing mechanics across the entire region and we were in the last phase and didnt notice for around 30 seconds thinking we triggered somthing wrong and killed it 15 seconds while we were frazzled on what to do. We ticketed to have the kill and loot taken but they said it wasnt our faults and that it wasnt an exploit. We agreed not to equip anything and killed it the next week but these things happen, I imagine it would be verry common for the first time doing somthing and if blizz wasnt ways watching the first, it would happen 20x more.
