So, we have Garrosh 2.0. I mean come on: The "Desolate Council" stands against Sylvanas and her decisions (Vol'jin, Baine, Saurfang), Sylvanas wants to eradicate these traitors (the Kor'kron did this under Garrosh), and you can basically replace Nathanos with Malkorok.
Can we get Vol'jin back already?
Anyone else getting sick of the Horde vs. Alliance conflict? This feels so forced, there's no way Azeroth should even be able to continue waging war at this point I'm so TIRED of it lmao. I wanna see what happens still but I just really hope they don't make Sylvanas a villain next expac. It's just getting depressing to see each Horde leader come and go like disposable spoons.
Just because she wants SW doesn't mean she will have it... Secondly, this is World of Warcraft(emphasis on War) and at its core its Alliance vs. Horde. Grey wont let Audiun be a push over about this nor will Jania. Garrosh dropped a mana bomb killing both sides vs sending troops to declare war.
Yea the horde are not so well written.. but i don't think that Sylvanas will be Garrosh 2.0 . To be honest i never liked the horde , especially after the broken shore cinematic but Sylvanas is another matter. She has good character development and reason to advance further. The rest of the horde are just irrelevant. For the alliance my friend.
I wish this kind of character complexity found its way into the game. It rarely does.
My blizzcon epic goodie bag did not include this?
So Sylvanas put the goblins to harness Azeroth's blood (plus void energies and whatnot Sargeras' stab left there) to blow up Stormwind. I'm calling it, she'll be able to blow Stormwind up, Jaina will save Anduin and half a dozen survivors, everyone in SW will die and be raised BUT - as foretold back in Cataclysm - the Desolate Council will be able to conscript those new undead to fight against Sylvanas. Man I've been waiting six years since I did those quests back in Cata, ty Christie for not forgetting us!
It seems Sylvanas is pretty much the only Forsaken who wants to raise more Undead... Someone should tell her that wishing for more people to suffer her curse is not what selfless leaders usually hope for their people. Also, I'm tired of my faction leader being the bad guy... I just want to build totems and hug rocks :'(
Ok, while I don't want to see Sylvanas become a villain/big bad it did get me thinking, maybe this even darker turn could signify the change of Warchief leadership... but not into a NEW Warchief. What if this is the catalyst to Vol'jin's return, people? They DID say his story's not done afterall...
If we kill Sylvanas, can we resurrect Varian and have him lead the Forsaken?Horde for life, but I'd trade one for the other unless we get an epic redemption storyline.(Redemption may be the wrong word, but something.)
Elywnn forest to southern plaguelands revamp incoming.
I'll wait for the Audiobook version as read by, velvet voice, Boogie2988.
Just bring it Banshee Queen. The Alliance has a surprise for you......
Remember when Christie Golden was a good writer and not a member of the "hurr let's let the Horde be genocidal maniacs who never face any repercussions for using WMDs on civilian populations" train?
Sounds like she will do exactly what Garrosh did - and then be deposed and killed by Horde and Alliance. They need to have much more going on in my view to avoid repeating Pandaria - not enough just to have void lords and old gods manipulating Sylvanas. But it's very early - can't wait till tomorrow to find out!
