And apparently next expac will be "Lightbound lords of Draenor", return to the AU.
"In the epilogue, Genn and Anduin reflect on the battle and we see some character development from Genn--he now realizes that the Forsaken are not all monsters."Character "development"...
I think it needs to be made clear in the title of the topic that Christie Golden did not come up with this story, she's given the script overview by Blizzard and then she writes the dialogue of the characters to get them from the start to the finish via the route she's told to go. This "holy undead" idea is not hers, she's not "ruining the game lore" lol.
Can we start a petition to make Golden stop writing for Blizzard? Or at least starting a Q&A with Blizzard again showing them these samples asking if the still think about nuances and all that stuff? Because if it isn't a straight up lie it is really getting hard to believe anything they said prior to now.
So the Alliance started the war.HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Let's be honest here, I'm a huge fan of Sylvanas' character and believes she has suffered through a lot of pain. There was tremendous depth to her character that has been squandered. She fought tooth and nail to defend the Sunwell and did not make it easy for Arthas, he had to fight for every inch. And instead of having the freedom to die defending her home she was forced against her will to become a Banshee. She didn't ask for this. When she threatened to turn Lorna she gave Crowley a choice, one she was never given. All the pain, anger and suffering she's endured she now wishes to inflict it on others. People forget that after Vereesa stood her up about murdering Garrosh and got cold feet she felt betrayed, was emotionally broken and swore to never love or trust again. I've wanted a redemptive story for her for awhile. At one point it was possible. But now I fear its to late for that. I want to believe Sylvanas is a morally gray character but her actions say otherwise and I feel like Blizz is insulting our intellect by suggesting it. That being said Calia was extremely stupid and naive. Albeit she's young and was never taught how to rule but still you are an heir to the throne of Lordaeron sneaking into a peace summit in disguise with Sylvanas. How the heck you expect her to react? Regardless of Calia's intentions, in Sylvanas' eyes you are taking her people to defect to the Alliance. Hell even Genn asked what the hell she was doing. Sylvanas is paranoid and has blind hate for the Menethil name because of what Arthas did to her. She didn't bother asking permission to attend or trying to work something out to get the Forsaken to meet their loved ones. Sneaking in under disguise gives off the impression you have ill intentions especially when you're the heir to Lordaeron and a threat to Sylvanas' rule. Of course her first thought will be this is a coup or rebellion attempt. While I do believe Sylvanas clearly overreacted, Calia executed this poorly and allowed emotion to override her judgment. She has a lot to learn.
sorry but can u explain your answer who attacked her?
Another BIG problem I have with this is that it’s just more Forsaken bullsh*t. I can just imagine Saurfang and Baine, chilling at the mead hall in Orgrimmar when word gets to them of what happens and their first reaction is “WTF did she do now?”
This? This is the big reveal that would show everything was MORALLY GREY?That Sylvanas is every bit the paranoid overly-aggressive violent tyrannical warmongering halfwit everybody knows she is?And damn you Blizzard. This is what you do to Calia? THIS?Get lost.Sigh. At least people can stop fooling themselves that Blizzard are faking us out with a bad cover plot and the "real" one where the Horde aren't being led by a maniac into a self-destructive war of aggression is being hidden.
