I look forward to the new faction hubs, horde having a troll city as there hub got me hyped
I am very happy about the level scaling, finally i can skip Outland! I like leveling, but leveling in Outland is just bad.
Expansion is still soo fresh on the ideas field. I really wish they would had done what was done with Legion on which was announced out of Blizzcon but then at the con they went ALL OUT with everything that they had. I fear this will have some of the mistakes they made with Cataclysm and even WoD.
Really curious about the implementation of classic servers and how popular they will be in the end. New addon with pirates and trolls? Feels a bit like Stranglethorn back in the day, but let'S wait and see^^Glad, they finally bring in the subclasses! Have been waiting for these forever!
Good spread of comments and although some answers were dodged it seemed like a worthwhile read.
Im realy curious about classic server ...How many raids will be opened? Will we just stop with Naxxramas forever, or there be any new content coming? If so, will it be realy "new" or just BC > WotLK > Cata > etc? And how often? :D
Plenty of questions to be answered then. Really curious to see if we get more character slots.
It all sounds very interesting. I'm loving that Classic WoW servers are on the way, but it seems like it would take a lot of work to create servers like these.Don't even get me started on the features of it, I have so many questions about it :o
I've got a question about this whole remove pvp/pve realms as they are now. We can activate wether we want to world pvp or not, great idea but do we get more server merges or will it just stay cross realm?
Very quick interviews but it looks like Classic WoW is a ways off, maybe not until after Battle for Azeroth
I hope Classic Servers are completely separated from the systems and don't unlock no-longer available things in the wardrobe and whatnot.
Yeah, what's about legendaries, artifacts?..And I'm curious of why the're not sure about "flying". Hope, there will be no more pve zones like argus of IoT.
I see that if all brawls were always up, than actually the playerbase involved in each would be pretty low, and the same goes for timewalking raids (whereas when BT reappeared recently it was very hard to find a group..). So I'd totally understand if they were on a weekly rotation. As for the vanila achievements/titles and stuff, would be nice to have them account bound, since the difficulty is not trivial to get them. Now am probably going to upset a lot of ppl, but I don't get it why vanila is so desired. Sure that time it was awesome cause no other game was like that - but if it was resurrected exactly the same way as it was ppl woundn't play it, only a very small minority of masochist players. Have you all forgotten that you couldn't mount up till lvl 40? that you had to constantly farm materials for your professions? that before boss it took at least 20 minutes to buff your whole raid? -mages after each arcane brilliance had to dring their own cunjured food that also drained mana when created.. and by the time paladins buffed up everybody the duration was already about to expire? -that in Temple of Ahn'Qiraj you had to run 10 minutes back to C'Thun that was actually unkillable when first introduced? Well if this is what you define as "fun" - than sure go on, but I really hope that when they deliver the vanila servers these things will be already polished out. I know either way ppl will cry about it on forums (both if they change this or if they don't), but if you think about it: it doesnt add extra difficulty or skillcap to your gameplay if you have to buff every person in the raid, so why not have it passively as in cataclysm -an aura.
Cool, shame they can't give more info on classic, but fair enough, I'm just happy it's happening at all! Nice to get a little more idea on the scaling for soloing, although depends what "rough" means. As long as 2 expansions back is ok, then it's no change for me, I've never been one of the advanced types who can do raids one expansion back anyway (I don't play tank); right now I can solo normal Pandaria raids no problem (ToT I have to stick to 10 because of Dark Animus, jeez that fight is badly scaled), and can duo SoO mythic no problems, and that's fine by me, haven't tried WoD tbh but suspect it'd be tougher for me, although some at least would be possible on 10 normal. Of course I'd not complain if I could get nearer to current content... ;-)
I would love if they dropped the Vanilla world into current engine so no more blinking and charging through world, but leaving the difficulty of it the same way it was back in the day. That said I'd like to keep the mounts and transmog I have collected on regular world but I'd make it unable to use heirloom until you hit 60 with 1 character. I also hope you would be able to get the mounts removed from game by farming them when they are current content.
Of course they need to be careful with what they can and can't say. Let's hope they deliver what they have have shown us now, it looks amazing.
I love how much WoWhead is becoming part of the community! Also, I saw Panser does "reaction" videos now - love it
i am interested in the new races but one question has not yet been answered and for me (and alt freaks like me) it is important. I am capped for characters on my server. Not just capped, but maxed level for all of them. I have one of every class and race for the alliance (only alliance). With these new races not only being playable but also with the benefit of leveling them from scratch to gain access to legacy armor (something I am very much looking forward to) ........Will there be an increase to the number of toons on a server? I am going to need at least 3 new spots for the new alliance races. Anyone else in that same boat?
