So no Key to the City - will the achievement be updated to reflect this change? And so long as Rivendare still drops the Tier and Mount, the changes seem to be an improvement (for the unfamiliar, that place can be quite confusing).
I liked having to test my stealth through the instance. With these changes, that may not be there much anymore. Still, nice to have quest-givers come to you for a change.
So are they retconning Aurius into being related to Baron Rivendare (he said Rivendare killed his family, as I recall, not that he was a brother/father/cousin)? Or is Rivendare now a title (like "Darth" in Star Wars)? I mean, it's explained why he becomes the new master (even at the end of his quest he's gravely wounded) but Lord Aurius Rivendare?
Someone told me that they were removing the mount drop from this instance. Any indication to the truth of that?
With the level changing to early 40's then it is a reasonable assumption that the tier will no longer be dropped. While the level will still support the mount dropping, the lore with the new boss leaves that open, and remaining to be seen.
Eh, sorry, what's new? Sounds like the old Stratholme?
Great. They're moving quest givers inside in every instance... no more searching for those epic storyline quests that I liked so much... :(
Just a thought about Aurius and the Baron... nothing I can find links them as being related, or maybe more importantly nothing links them as not being related. Doing some research there is actually very little known about Aurius. No last name, no background other than being a former Paladin, ect. Maybe the reason he was so set on taking out the Baron in old Stratholm was that it was his father perhaps?
"There must always be a Rivendare!"
Stratholme is an amazing instance, so well made and spooky. Wish they made a heroic version of it in cata.
