Thanks for another great attack article!Surprised you didn't include Tempo Warrior in the current meta. I have seen it more than zoo lately. Or maybe I'm feeling picked on.Not sure I agree with Patron Warrior being a solid enough answer to the decks out there. Definitely agree with the other three. Been having luck with Dragon Priest myself. Most of the streamers I watch also really enjoy Maly rogue so might try it next.
Patron warrior is great if there's little to no AOE played or if there's classes in the Meta that dont have the neccessary AOE.Dragon Priest is fun to play, but it's inconsistent as usual.
As a guy whose played maly rogue since wotog released, id be happy to write you an article on it :D
Dragon Priest is surprisingly resilient against Warrior decks. It struggles for pace against Tempo Warrior unless it draws its taunts early, but it's got better tempo than Control Warrior.I completely disagree with the comment in the guide about running Chillmaw / Excavated Evil. Alternatives are too much 'win-more' - the whole point of Chillmaw and Excavated Evil is to use them as catch-up mechanisms, and leave them in the hand if you're ahead of the game. Either card completely shuts down Patron Warrior, for example. I'm a bit greedier with my Priest as well, in that I drop a SW:D for a second Entomb instead, since they moreorless serve the same purpose, and Entomb will add to your card strength. Against C'Thun Warrior, the best target you can Cabal is Armorsmith. That completely removes C'Thun as a win-condition, since the amount of damage you take is likely to be completely offset by the amount of damage that's being restored as armor instead. Also, playing C'Thun-buff minions on curve isn't enough to out-tempo the dragons, so you can generally control the board. Just disappointed that after stealing C'Thun, his buff cards stop buffing it up!My own Dragon Priest is much more oriented for the control game - since I'm missing cards like Ysera and Sylvanas, I run two Mind Controls instead, so effectively, I've got 5 answers to big cards (1x SW:D, 2x Entomb, 2x MC), four of which put the big cards in my control instead.
