MM Hunter and retri are wayyyyy too OP, rest seems fine.
So I play Assassination since Legion come, I even lvling as Assassination and love it. But for now i Shadowlands, unplayable spec. Tbh no energy (ofc more haste = more energy), I can't cast 2 evenom a row. We don't have AoE, nothing new as legendaries. Basicly switch class or change spec.
Re: Affliction Feedback by XyronicSo basically Affliction Warlock is the best its going to be right now for this entire xpac unless we get some buffs. That's rough man. Right in the feels.
Balance druid single target burst is crazy insane, but that's what they deserve.
Yep definitely feeling the squishiness as a rogue, since I can no longer just roll spam for leech and i no longer have items with passive healing I am squishy as @#$%, I see some other classes pulling full 6-8 packs of mobs easily and even if I use killing spree with blade flurry I'm only getting enemies down to maybe 20-30% and by then I've also gone down to about the same. Fun times.
Yeah, I am not really enjoying the rogue's squishiness. Maybe it is effective for PvP but it sucks in PvE where I feel my kit doesn't make up for my softness.
I agree that arcane is slow but great burst and aoe. Its a blast. 😁
Playing Havoc and having several abilities straight up not be worth using anymore and standing around auto-attacking until RNG sees me fit to produce enough fury for a Chaos Strike sure is.. fun.
when you lose 20 % haste everything feels slow
Even though Enhance got the vast majority of its changes in prepatch, it feels significantly better in SL compared to prepatch just due to Chain Lightning now reducing the cooldown of Crash Lightning. It smooths out the AoE rotation significantly and makes it really work, compared to it feeling a bit clunky in prepatch.
Rogues will only be squishy until we start getting our Recuperator conduits which will give us decent self-sustain again. I wish they would just bring Recuperate back to baseline but even without it I was able to solo all my Torghast floors this week as Outlaw by focusing on defensive/healing anima powers and using my Phial of Serenity when possible. The Phial of Light anima power can make it heal 100% of your health if you find enough of them. Using all our stuns and interrupts are also important in there since being able to stun the bosses is a big advantage.
Well , Not put it perfectly when he said that Demonology is the misunderstood stepchild of the class. Hopefully , this will change someday. So , I am not the only one that feels unrewarded for the amount of effort I put into doing dps only to be outdpsed by burst classes in dungeons. Glad I read this time to steer clear to Destru and Demo for m+. I had no luck for aff soulbinds anyway. Instead I got a rain of demo and destro. I shall wait for more 2ndary stats to kick in and try Aff again later on in the expansion.
Whoever wrote that havoc DH part is pretty unmotivated. Havoc has an essay worth of changes ranging from rotational to stat weights changes. A LOT has in fact changed for them.
I've been playing Combat/Outlaw for almost my rogue's entire career (since vanilla) and this is the worst I can remember the spec feeling. Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I didn't miss slice and dice, and I didn't hate rerolling RtB. I dislike separating Kidney Shot and Between the Eyes, theres too much maintenance/setup, I feel like too many buttons to hit and not enough globals to do it, let alone the nerf to Crimson Vial, and by proxy the nerf to Iron Stomach
Went through all three Hunter specs this week so I'll chip in as well:1) started out with Survival, as it's IMHO the most fun spec of the three when you take Mongoose and Wildfire infusion, but the penalty for being melee and generally being undertuned quite a bit just hurts it too much for it to be relevant (I managed to play Surv for the entire BFA, so it's not like I gave it up easily.) Serpent sting, kill command and carve need a substantial buff while Mongoose needs cleave to be implemented in some way for Survival to be more of a pick.2) BM is still stupidly frustrating spec to play with RNG based frenzy maintenance and aside from that, being resource starved for a good portion of every fight just isnt fun at all. It has way too few abilities with relevant performance to use, like why is Dire Beast a 20 second CD and only one charge when it's a talent? Boring spec as hell - only ever gonna use it for torghast. 3) MM suprised me quite a bit, aside from the dmg being really good, it has so many abilities I actually ran out of key binds to use. I'm still discovering everything about the spec which is a good thing and for the time being, this is the one I will run the most.
