Havoc got 3%. Where? Still on down side and same place as before... Thanks blizz. You ruining your game again.
As a looooong time rogue player, it's just sad to look at this and see that Blizzard is still incapable of understanding what's not right with the rogue design.1) we are a pure melee dps. People don't play what they like, people play what's best. Hence everyone plays Outlaw (with the RtB abomination) because that's what we're supposed to do - deal as much damage as possible.2) since point 1 is a thing, it's easy to see why Outlaw is "fine": Blade Flurry. Outlaw single target is middle of the pack, we have zero burst, but Blade Flurry is insanely good in cleave/aoe (look at M+ for confirmation). It's not rocket science. Hell, this thing stems right from TBC because everyone was Combat since Blade Flurry was insanely good - click a button and you get all the aoe you need and turn off when you don't need it. We were king in dps because that was our job - others brought buffs, we leeched them.Over time game has changed a lot. Problem is, hybrid classes got all the tools we have in 3 specs baked in a single one. DH as the latest added class have even just 2 specs because it just made no sense to have 2 dps just to reach the "trinity", and both have all they need to be at least decent in any situation. To me, rogues are just antiquated. We don't need 3 specs which are actually one - the one that sucks less because every single one misses "something". They should just kill one of the three, make one spec for PvP and one for PvE and be done with it. People will be mad? For sure. But data speak for itself - people flock onto the "best spec" and don't care about the rest. Make it happen "officially" and be done with useless balancing that gives players headaches everytime you turn the knobs too much and we have to get all the gear needed for another spec because you buffed it too much.
BM hunters. Sad.
Don't mind me, a spec named retribution be chilling in the middle with my wheelchair
As a BM hunter, last week I genuinely felt as if I could keep up in heroic CN / Mythic + dungeons. So I guess there's been some improvement.. But looking at the statistics the spec is still sh*t, so ppl will continue asking me to respec or dumping me from keys before we start. Luckily not everyone's like that!
DK gets nerfed week 1, but warlock and druid stayin op is cool. - Blizzard
*looks at Affliction and UnBalance*Whew, sure is a good thing they nerfed Unholy's mastery by 20% in the first two weeks before any meaningful data could be acquired, couldn't be having a spec doing slightly higher damage than anything else, right?
If you go to warcraftlogs and exclude chinese parses warlocks are toping in two encounters Huntsman and Sludgefist . I strongly disagree with these chart since in eu and us servers warlocks aint that good .
DHs leading the pack of the suckers \o/
Would love for ret to finally get a buff and stop dropping in the ranks.
they've really done the rogue dirty, in between laughable covenant class abilities and having another maintenance buff (slice and dice) for assa/sub, we'll fall behind to anything with burst damage. The only hopes for rogue are the 9.1 class changes...
I didn't think Sub changed, is this another parse quantity thing? Seems ridiculous. Embarrassing that hunters are so far on 2/3.
Still don't see what was the point of nerfing unholy's mastery by 20%, going by these rankings boomkins and affliction locks are more ahead now than unholy was when it got hit by the nerf hammer. There's specs in worse situations than unholy but still wondering.
(sigh) These lists tell nothing of the story but then people run with them like they're a tier list of what you "should" play. The best example is the first comment that implies rogues and hunters suck. This is Mythic Castle Nathria... less than 2% of the player base will ever do a single mythic boss. The way mythic raids are set up, they have very specific mechanics that some classes don't deal with as well. They work well enough in normal and heroic, but mythic not so much. In the next tier, it may be more beneficial to play melee. Re-rolling your raid toon is part of the process in a mythic raiding guild. Not necessarily for the common player. The big reason rogues and hunters are all the bottom is because the high skilled players are opting for different classes that they can get the most out of. The people who aren't playing the "best" specs are most likely players who are only doing the first couple of bosses to try them out and experiment, or they're running alts and have a hunter or druid as a main.So please, wow community, stop using these lists to assume it's the "meta" for the game. It's very confusing for new players to the game who keep re-rolling thinking they have to play the "best" class. Instead of focusing on learning one class well, and figuring out timing of raid mechanics, how to use defensives, and other basics they're going from class to class and not progressing.
