No buffs to Arcane, Frost and many other undertuned specs. No nerfs to the specs dominating raids+mythic dungeons+arenas. Didn't Blizzard promise more frequent balance patches?
But I am absurdly amazed by the fact that windwalkers got in the top spot.

I think one of the main reason for Monk being first is how easy it is to get there best stat on gear!Versatility being there best stat mean they can get BiS for almost there entire gear set from pvp alone, add to that the fact that they are also one of the best pvp class out there (last I check the no.1 highest rating is a monk) and you get a good advantage over others who struggle to get half there gear with there best stat!
Why did Sub drop so much? That's The strangest change, it's not even the best rogue spec anymore.I keep hoping Survival claws back up, I'm glad to see it above BM.
Just some numbers I pulled from the current statistics regarding the state of Warrior, DH and Ret Paladin (mythic 95th percentile, averages across all parses)I won't look at them individually because they are very, very close together.
Blizzard never seems to get things right.Frost mage bottom spec? lmao!
You know what. Windwalker deserves this.
The 53 people that play survival are getting better every week
These charts are not 100% telling, but they do provide trends. The general trend I see is that melee is behind ranged in dps. Absent a couple of outliers (Unholy and Enhancement, which will be dropping now that the bug was fixed). The top half is exclusively ranged classes. These aren't ridiculous differences, but the disparity should be addressed. It could be a mechanics issue where melee has more boss downtime or a few classes need some small buffs to get them up in the competitive range.
I think that enhancement 'bugging' a 15-30% damage increase, and _still_ aren't top of the charts should say something about the state of the spec.
Who cares about dh anyway?
Warriors, paladins and demon hunters got the short end of the stick this raid tier it seems being in the lower half of the dps. Just like last week, they are lower than some classes 2nd dps specs. Warr and DH still have enough utility to be brought into raids (max one of each usually), but ret is just left with nothing. It is one thing to have specs of a class that aren't the best, but a whole other thing when a class's best spec isn't even that good. Nice to see WW and Enha getting some attention, even though the latter is in part to the bug. F for Frost mages and Destro Locks.
Phew.. fury is still around the bottom. That means I didn't lose my excuse for sucking (apparently, being Venthyr isn't a reason to suck #winkwinknudgenudge)
