still got goats on timeless isle and bug farm
All these cry babies begging for nerfs don't realize you're furthing the gap between yourself and the froggers haha blizzard isn't helping you by nerfing spots they'd help by buffing others lol. It's humorous though.
As someone who hasn't even done any farm.. I'm actually sick of seeing this crap. Why doesn't everyone just stop playing remix for a period of time and see what happens. Maybe they'll make positive changes.
And after the nerfs of the crane, it will be what ? Uh ? Dinos ?
Wait you can go to Dalaran?
Imagine playing pandaland
Math for bronze needed:You need 1,581,600 bronze to buy everything off the vendor which excludes the mana bomb toy. You don't need to be a certain class to learn an ensemble. A priest can learn one for a warrior and vice versa. I did not include gems or consumables in my number since those are variable in how many you'd need, and they drop a dime a dozen anyway.Apparently you need around 600k to upgrade your gear fully. I wasn't sure if the jewelry was upgradable but apparently not so that reduces the amount needed a bit. You need to upgrade helm, shoulder, chest, wrist, gloves, legs, and boots as well as either a 2h or mainhand/offhand. That's 8-9 pieces depending on class and spec, but MH+OH = 2h in terms of bronze cost to upgrade. I used numbers before assuming 100k per item which isn't accurate. Assuming you start with 346 iLvL (the level before upgrades get outrageous), you need another 577,950 bronze to fully upgrade your gear to 556. Add maybe another 1000-1500 per each piece of gear below 346 to upgrade depending on where you started with it. Frankly, it'd be like an extra 10-15k so rather minimum compared to everything else if you upgrade from level 1.So overall, you need 2,159,550 (excluding upgrades pre-346). The bronze cap is 2 million so you just need a touch above bronze cap to get everything and fully upgrade your gear, but do remember, you aren't keeping that max upgraded gear when the toon converts with TWW. You'll be downgraded, but to what iLvL Blizzard hasn't revealed. With that in mind, is it really worth it to fully upgrade your gear? Most likely you'll end up with worse than you upgraded to although if you have maybe 346, you should at least see an upgrade to gear after the conversion. To get bronze cap, over the course of the event, you need around 21,052.6 bronze every day over 95 days. If you're going for the 2.1 million number, then you need 22,732.1 bronze a day to get everything and fully upgrade your gear. If you're just starting Remix today, you need 24,540.3 bronze per day for the rest of the event.Numbers for myself:I ran numbers for myself and I knew I only had 50 days to play the event due to work. I also have a fair number of the items already from playing MoP when it was current. My numbers still aren't small, though. I only need 1,217,950 bronze to buy everything I don't already have. Add the 577,950 for max gear upgrades, I need 1,795,900 bronze. If I was able to play 95 days, I'd only need 18,904.2 bronze a day, but because I can only play a bit over half the time the event is available, I'm at 38,210.6 a day as of today. Not a small number.I opted to run every LFR today to see how much bronze I got. By the end, I got 23,114 bronze. That included the daily quest although mileage may vary due to random rates of bronze drops from mobs. Actually not massively terrible, though, but I'd still be 15k shy of my goal. Also running LFR reminded me of how boring some of the fights are, and I'm not sure if the LFR rewards are dailies or weeklies. The queue says weekly, but that could just be Blizzard being lazy not updating the UI. I know the raids are on daily lockout for the event. Someone else may know better. I was also disappointed to only get green iLvL 346 gear the entire time. I got an epic when I did it while leveling. Now at 70 I get greens only? I would have at least liked SOMETHING higher than my 346 iLvL but nope. I got nothing besides bronze, threads, and gems. I take it LFR must be capped at 346 iLvL which is pretty terrible. At least let it drop up to 446, then upgrade the rest. Normal could drop up to 459, heroic to 472, and mythic to 489. But nope, Blizzard has to have us waste bronze upgrading gear we don't even get to keep. While my bronze acquisition rate in LFR isn't terrible assuming I suffer through every LFR wing every day for the remaining days I can play, I'm still shy of what numbers I need. That makes the event rather demoralizing to know I can't achieve my goal at this point. If I get roughly 23k for all of the LFR wins, I'd only get 1,081,000 bronze by the end of the event with the number of days I have remaining to play. That's around 700k short of my number. In that situation, it comes down to upgrading gear and doing harder content hoping for more bronze or skipping the gear upgrades entirely to at least get most of what I'm after. While I wanted to aim for the Garrosh heirlooms since I didn't get those when they were current, needing 22 of those bones feels daunting. Throw in the Tusks of Mannoroth for another 20. Either I run 42 normal SoO or I beg for 4 mythic SoO carries and 2 normal SoO. I was almost falling asleep just doing LFR SoO. Running it 42 times on normal would be boring, and I very much doubt there would be too many people wanting to carry others out of the kindness of their hearts. There's always something they want. Spending so much time in LFR also kills my time to level any other toons through the event.I was hoping for what was advertised about being OP and fast leveling, but this feels like a very boring slog. While I suspect bronze will get buffed a few more times like plunder was, by the time that happens, I feel I'll probably need 50k bronze a day and my goal will really be out of sight. Running numbers makes this event feel very demoralizing. I was optimistic initially, but now I'm beginning to not care. Blizzard said they valued our time but apparently not. I work 12 hour shifts 7 am to 7 pm. I don't have time after work to play. I come home, eat, take a shower, and go to bed. I might be able to play all day on some of my days off, but I have things I have to do as well. I feel like my time is not being respected. Having to get the jewelry achievements on every toon also shows our time is not being respected. Perhaps they should have had the xp value on the cloak shift to increasing the amount of bronze you get once you hit 70, but then they'd have people chain running raids just to get it. Having guaranteed sources of the xp threads doesn't lend itself to it being tied to bronze. This event really doesn't feel like it was well thought out nor was it tested enough. It also feels like they ignored a lot of feedback. Makes me think the developers from MoP have all largely left and the ones remaining just wanted to play around in an expansion from before their time. If any developers were left from that time, they should have brought up the grinding nature related to the frogs, goats, etc. If they did, they clearly weren't listened to. This event has royally backfired and we're only a week in. The event was advertised about getting lots of cosmetics and leveling alts. Does it matter how fast we acquire the cosmetics? The alts are what will keep players going. Acquiring all the cosmetics quickly wouldn't really keep an altoholic from creating more and more alts during the event. The players who don't care for alts then would stick around just to be OP. The costs of upgrades and cosmetics are just out of hand.
