What about tanks, are they still immune?
Stupid change I saw when I jumped into the ptr a few weeks ago, I hoped it was a bug or something but seems like it's not. This is just making the game experience less pleasant for lots of players, warlocks, priests, mages, players with absorb azerite trait, etc. Tailors have a back enchantment that prevents being dazed but it only works in Zandalar and Kul Tiras for some reason.I'm always ready to wait and see, to learn the logic behind what Blizz is doing, but this is pure b*llsh*t, this is infuriating me so bad, it's not the worst thing they've done unfortunately but it feels to me like the straw that broke the camel's back. They've destroyed every classes and specs for years now, then the gcd, azerite madness, rng madness, grind madness, and now this?I don't give a flying flamingo about their mount gear, DO NOT REMOVE DAZE IMMUNITY FROM ABSORB SPELLS AND ABILITIES.
As a side note:If you hate far enough blizzard might change this. But then they would simply remove the absorb effect from azerite items dropped in 8.2 zones - if there are any of those and more or less recieve the very same effect. Only classes with kind of passive absorb abilitys would benifit further, so this change is at least more fair.
Well... I was about to socket that mountgear anyway, since I never really saw the point in waterwalking mounts (didnt need em much tbh). But this seems really unnecessary. Ever since level-scaling world this has been a real problem. It's not, that it does anything apart from pissing players off, having to fight one-shot mobs.Welp... at least there will be a sure way to cancel daze out entirely, also we will be able to fly anyway. 9.0 isnt going to be fun tho :/
In the spirit of these days Blizzard: Fun detected, fun removed...
I'm a Blizzard apologist. I love the game and usually tell the complainers to relax. But changes like this and some others recently seem ... silly. Why reduce quality of life perks while leaving class balance/utility in such a poor state, particularly in the M+ space?
Tbh i didn't even know absorbs did that... Guess this isn't going to bother me in the long run then
Not a big deal. Means learning the best paths is actually important again (not that it's hard).
They're really trying to kill this game, isn't it?MAN...
this generation of people Outraging over everything is just sad , just dont play it if you dont like it , simple as that , and move on with your life , some of you are taking these Video games to serious ...
Honestly... it is disapointing... what they should do is make it at least be a permanent acquisition, not a one use equipment. They should make it hard to acquire (requiring reps for some or obtained for specific achievements or meta achievements) and them switchable at will.So when i am mounting over water, i click the equipment use button, then when i get on ground i click the anti daze and when i jump over a clif i click the parachute. But i have to actually click it.
Going about this the wrong way, Blizzard. For years you've been making ways for us to not have to deal with Dazed while mounted. The correct solution is to just remove Dazed from the game unless it's pvp.
Wait, people were still playing non-tank alts in the open world?Like, ok, your main is your main, of course there’s variety there, but I mean... once you’re on alts, running non-tanks optionally in the open world pre-flight was always a step back in efficiency. Yes this is a lame change, but if you were questing on your mage alt in the open world pre-flight... you kinda had it coming.
