this is a good change, as someone who was "forced" to pvp because all my bis gears came from hitting duelist. Now I don't feel the need to pvp in 9.1 i can play the content I enjoy which is pve and reach bis gears that way, i wont feel im falling behind or missing out by not doing the contents i dont enjoy i think its pretty important to distinguish pve/pvp gears and this way if you are interested/good at all contents you can still get 220 gears from duelist and upgrade them as long as u are good enough to maintain your rating. like the change would love to see what others think of this
-honor-conquesttwo tiers of ilvl its not that hard blizzard...
I like it. It will punish players who don't play actively the game.
get boosted to high rankings -> farm honor/conquest for your gear -> buy one win -> upgrade all your gear in one weekthis don't fix the issue fix is just easy, just make gear like in WoD, no upgrading items just items that scales in pvp
Still bad for pve players...
This is actually good. A good change for RBG
Dang so boosters are now gonna be making EVEN MORE MONEY! LMAO!
Seems like this encourages boosting even more now that players who buy carries will have to do so every week. Lol
if this change goes live boosters are going to be booked until 10.0 drops, and if it stays in you're going to have boosters gold capped on their account + bnet balance capped early into 9.1 if they arent already.
now lets just fix your mmr system so i dont constantly lose more mmr than what i get for winning. thanks.
This isn't resolving anything in PvP. Boosts will still be there and they will be even better for boosters as they will basically offer 1 win over certain rating for extra income. Why are all PvP gearing changes meant to help PvE players enjoy the game more but they actually ignore PvP community problems?
You don't have to buy a boost every week. Just on the weeks you actually want to spend Conquest points. When you're pooling points across weeks to save up for a big ticket item, you don't have to boost in those interim weeks. It helps, but you don't have to.World/Realm First Raiders who buy PvP boosts aren't just doing it for the PvP trinkets to bring to raids. They're doing it for the weapons. This will diminish some in 9.1 when PvP items have a lower iLvl when not in PvP content.I hope the Great Vault PvP choices are also only based on the maximum rating achieved the previous week, not the maximum rating for the whole season.
Who asked for this ? Who asked for fkin gatekeeping Ilvl behind rating system ? Who even tought of this ? We had a system that was clear and worked perfectly in wod,mop etc.. and some dude want to re-invent the wheel. « Yeah but gear progression its a mmo » No you miss the point, pvpers want to pvp is that hard to understand ? Let me pvp and have a good duel, a good 2v2 or a good 3v3, whats the point of one shoting people stuck with 20 ilvl under you ? Yeah it can be fun in the beginning but thats not pvp, thats trash. Only people who enjoy the way things currently are are boosters, boosted and people who rushed start of the season no wonder nobody plays that #$%^ pvp anymore.
Really good change.
