The Worgen heritage armor shoulder-pads look awful. They don't fit in with the rest of the set at all, in my opinion.
I like the looks, without shoulders. At least on worgen female, without shoulders and hat.
Few things: - This armour looks way better on humans than it does on Worgen, without the shoulder pads. - I was hoping that this quest like would have least added a portal or flight point to Gilneas or hint at we could be taking it back soon. - The amour itself is too flashy and not grundgy enough IMO. - I hope they pick up on Tess "Hopefully" working on reclaiming the city at a later point.
I'm thinking it's Greyguard dress uniform, not regular field gear.
I'm honestly really disappointed with this armor. I had a lot of hype after the amazing model update, and hoped that even with the delay, they'd put more effort in it, but it just reminds me of a stripped and more poor version of the KT heritage armor.
As with what others have said here already, I too think the Heritage armor looks better while in Human form. Less clipping, less ridiculous proportions. The entire upper back / shoulder area for Worgen really messes with cloaks and shoulders, causing them to be super huge and clip with everything else.(Talking about Male Worgen here. I think it looks less bad on female Worgen)
Soooo... essentially the whole scenario is a dream? What a waste.
I love this heritage armor. Second best behind the gnome
I like it.Great story. Goldrinn taking Tess back to the fall of Gilneas, seeing how things would have turned out mostly the same with her afflicted. Then showing how easy it is to lose yourself as a Worgen, give into rage. She comes out of this wiser. As for the armor? I can hide shoulder, not a big deal. I just kinda wish the gold was gone.
Why would anyone want Gilneas being taken back as part of a heritage armor quest? That excludes almost everybody else, it should be an alliance effort to do that. Also...this Gilneas is just a memory, it's not the real one.
Lots of opportunities lost by Blizz on this. One of them, why not make the Armor transform when they go from human to Worgen?Like, keep that fancy Transmog look while in Human form, but when in Worgen, show some parts of it cut out, like when you get a bit bigger, claws and stuff and the tissues get ripped apart a bit. Would be groovier.
a pity nathanos is not dead yet.
While the gold is a bit bright, I don't think people should knock the shoulders as much as they are. To be fair, a nice suit doesn't need any shoulder armor piece at all but they wanted to make a full set. Hide the shoulders and the suit looks pretty nice.
Do you have to hard-level to 120? My only Worgen was boosted with a Collector's Edition boost.
I don't think boosted toons get the heritage gear quest. For all previous heritage gear rewards you had to level from 20 upwards to earn it.
Would have been nice if Tess decided to go worgen anyways. The game needs more worgen of renown and she looks cooler as a worgen, too. All of my worgen would have fully supported that transition. None of the worgen player characters go into uncontrollable rages. Have we ever witnessed Genn go nuts either for that matter? The only time worgen seem to have a problem is when they're not tended to by a druid after turning. The feral ones.Would have been nice to have an option. Tess asks your character. Your character agrees or disagrees about not needing to turn into a worgen. If yes maybe you get an extra quest of giving her a chomp and her getting the druid treatment. It's not like she can't stay in human form during npc interactions and we don't really see her fighting outside of these heritage quests. As for the armor I think it looks nice. It's not perfect, but it's got the Victorian look and top hat. The only way I see it could have been better was if it was a coat with shoulders like Genn's got. There's my two copper.
Tested this in patch 10.2.5 and no longer requires Exalted with Gilneas.
