well after paying 5 million gold for a Mighty Caravan Brutosaur, guilty lol, 50k to 90k is chump change!
I'm a mount collector, but I think I will pass on these for a couple reasons. 1 what they are they are not worth 90k2 they are not going anywhere also seems like blizzard' s attitude is "don't have the money? just buy a token" I already have a subscription, not sinking more irl money for them
Horde and alliance both get multiple boring recolors of mounts through reps we unlocked 7 months ago for an insane price tag (horde's have it a tiny bit better). And then you have the water-rays which will undoubtedly be annoying to get, and the alliance one is actual PUUURE trash compared to the Horde one. So all players should be disapointed and the Alliance players can just go and "off" themselves" - Blizzard 2019
Every mounts going to be like 400k next expack at this point lmao. Not everyone’s the 1% blizzard or exploited your mission system.
Gotta agree with the majority here, Blizz... not everyone is sitting on gold cap. Not everyone abused your gold flow systems from previous expansions. 90K is waaaaaay too much. Put mounts back to the fair and reasonable prices. When I started playing in cata all the racial mounts and such were cool and fun to collect and were pretty cheap. New players now if they want some of these new mounts they gotta buy your wow token or farm, grind, farm, grind. So either buying the tokens is your goal and then the system becomes flawed or you think everyone has billions of gold. Stop over charging. One or two gold sinks is fine, not every new thing needs to be a gold sink.
Just a wild guess, but I bet they are bringing back the reskin mounts as random Paragon rewards. By allowing you to purchase them for a high price, they can also say that you have a deterministic way to get them as well. I know they have said they wouldn't do Paragon mounts again but I just simply don't trust Blizz at their word anymore - they love the time played they get from mount grinds. They can always justify it by saying they meant that they wouldn't bring back completely random Paragon mounts.
I'll take paying that gold price over having them be rare drops from Paragon caches.Anyone complaining about the reskin nature AND price: Then don't buy them? If you can't abide by reskins, then surely the price won't be a factor since you wouldn't want the mount anyway.
Jeeeeez people, mounts are not meant for everyone to always have.Back in the day if you had ONE mount in your inventory you were Steve Jobs rich.Calm down. If you can't afford it, don't buy it...OR work hard to get gold, or buy a token. sheesh!
90k for reskins is abussive. Blizz’s decisions are getting worse by the minute.
Man, that whole "buy token and turn it into gold" idea really worked out in the end, didn't it?
They really are trying to drag this expansion through the mud has much as possible arent they?
ah, I guess I won't get any of the gryphons then.
Ninety-freaking-thousand for a single mount that was honestly intended as a paragon reward, but stripped due to having no mount for the neutral reputations.Thanks. After cutting our gold earning potential by a stellar amount, you pull this. The ONLY redeeming quality of the gryphons, which is the entire purpose, is them being tinged and not having faction brands on them, letting them easily match your transmog. But that's going to be almost 250,000g for all three of them NOW. As if 120,000 wouldn't have been enough for some slightly recolored bird-things. Every other article about 8.2 and Classic recently have been great news and good things. But THIS! Either give us more ways to earn decent chunks of gold or just nerf the price of non-special mounts. Because there's nothing special about these feathered plucks.
90k wtf?I guess the next mounts (from rep) will be 500k. Jesus.
90k for "updated" (7 year old) poverty pigeon reskins lmao......
