Seriously? Crying favoritism because Alliance doesn't get as many TOYS?Ya'll get a super special glyph and pets that'll be worth a truckload of money due to being cageable. I'd rather take that over toys I'd use once and never again thanks to the CD.
3 pets vs 1 pet.2 toys vs 5 toys.1 glyph vs 0 glyphs.Blah blah blah.The could use a little improvement, but it's a good start I guess.
A glyph recipe for one class that you can sell at the auction house anyway...
Oposite faction toys should be obtainable from Seafarer doublons or by buying them from CoA... Otherwise having to take to exalted in both factions it's looking like a shameless way to force players that are completitionists to play more (and pay more)
Paragon Chests just killed BFA further, they don't belong.
I thought Legion paragon caches were bad enough, but this is on another level entirely. Disgusting.
Pretty shortsighted complaining about toys. Sure horde get more but the pets are cageable and likely to be a decent, if intermittent, source of income while once the horde get the toys that's it, no more worthwhile rewards.
Alliance got a helluva lot of cool %^&* at launch, dude - stop whining. We pretty much take turns, not to mention you get to always be the "good guys"
So, the same raven there are already a billion pets of? From a cool zone like Drustvar...?Hopefully it has those hexxed SFX and Wowhead just can't show them...
*Bypasses everything to get that Goldtusk Inn Breakfast buffet*Once a Goldtusk Gang member, always a Goldtusk Gang member. I will never go hungry again. <3
I can't wait to get a Meerah's Jukebox-- the song is a masterpiece!
I don't really care about which side gets which rewards, the fact that collectors will have to grind absurd amounts of reputation on both sides of the faction war is utterly asinine. Blizzard never learns from their mistakes and only "listens" when their profits start tanking faster than a druid in cat form with it's back to the boss. I was one of the only people in my guild to collect all of the Legion paragon rewards and that was only because I had a dozen fully leveled toons with maxed out order halls funneling rep tokens to whichever character was the closest to the next chest while completing the respective emissary quests whenever time permitted. It was not pretty and this iteration of the Paragon system looks even worse than the debacle birthed in Legion.A currency from the chests, preferably account-wide, in addition to very substantial quantities of resources and Azerite, would be the ideal way to go in my opinion. Then people could pick their rewards from the list of cosmetic items, pets and toys or even trade in their coins for a quick boost of extra AP. The more options in a case like this, the better to minimize player base exclusion without stacking yet another layer of unwanted RNG on players.
So they removed all the mounts i had my hopes up for. I wonder if I should stop playing now while its fun.
Do these boxes give gold at all?
7 collectibles for alliance, 8 for horde, clearly no bias here. More toys for horde, so for those who need to grind you have to grind more of horde unless the pets can not be caged, however you're horde you are already playing the easier faction because so far BFA favours horde.
Lame Legion had it better with the mounts I enjoyed getting paragon with a chance for a new mount now it is like why bother.
Remember when BfA stuff was first being datamined, and there were griffon mounts tied to each of the Alliance factions, and Horde could get different colored pterrodaxes from Empire of Zandalar? Then they randomly removed those flying mounts from the beta, and it was speculated that they'd be added for the paragon boxes? They had definitive text and vendor information. And now it looks like we won't be getting them from paragon boxes either.I agree with a lot of people on here, without mounts in the paragon boxes, they don't seem to be lucrative. Sure, they add a bonus reward of resources/gold/azerite, and a small chance at a pet or toy, but it's not like the Legion paragon mounts, which were dreamrunners and storm drakes. It feels like another thing that BfA kept from Legion, but made less appealing. I don't think it's going to bring too many more players back to doing world quests. I hope they decide to add those flying mounts to the paragon boxes, otherwise we might not see them for a long time.
Its dumb enough these weren't in at launch; but if these mediocre rewards are all we have to look forward too... meh. Looks like Blizzard isn't even trying anymore, what little soul the company had disappeared once Mike Morhaime left. Now Activision's infection has infected the core of the gaming company I grew up to love, sad times.....
