My ret recently popped Word of Glory for casual 800k. Tank had 1.4m hp though.
Please can we go back to the world where healers heal, damagers attack and CC, and tanks have to focus on their own survivabilityThis is ultimately how the metagame will always end up as long as tanks are dps and dps are healersThere are changes coming in 10.1.5 that will make this type of thing harder, No nerfs need to happen - Things need a revision, One bigger than they can squeeze in until next expansion, I think.
This is why blizz is nerfing fun; players are going against the holy trinity aka "you're not playing how we want you to play".Expect some nerfs coming up. And expect it to make everyone's playtime less enjoyable. Yay!
I mean, is this really a problem?Are we upset about people being able to try hard and no-heal M+?I think it shouldn't be MORE efficient to clear without a healer, but it also doesn't need to be impossible to clear without a healer. Ya know? Nor am I advocating that this is more efficient.
I was thinking another day about the healer role and how it completely lost his "healing" importance. This episode adds to my thoughts which were summed up by:"blizzard gotta drop the healing role and transform all them in support specs, something like the new evoker spec"Hope they're thinking like me, because healing got soooooo freaking boring in last 2 expansions. You neither heals (because everybody can self-heal) nor dps (healer DPS sucks both in rotation and numbers)I'm a main healer since Legion but I cant stand this #$%^ anymore, it's time to level up the game for healers.
This a pretty cool and commendable achievement on its own, but I'm afraid of what blizz is going to do about it.When this happened last season, they decided to nerf all actual healers, while keeping healing from dps/tanks the same or making it even stronger.Now it's happening in the current season and they decide they're doubling down and buffing hybrid spec mana in 10.1.5, to allow them to heal more consistently.At some point you'll only need a healer for a few high boss damage burst moments in every dungeon, while being only an accessory that does bad dps the rest of the time, which isn't exactly fun to play.
There’s an easy fix for this: just don’t allow keys to start unless someone is a heal spec. No nerfs required (although prot pala needs nerfing across the board.)
Who cares, none of this applies to 95% of playerbase anyway.
