The end of the factions?"or is the 3rd faction forming?
Soon you will see "The End" and that is that but you credit card payments will keep going :)OR a new variation will rise up the regular players vs the mouthbreather/toxic ...(BTW - This is a joke!)
If you can't beat them, join them :DThis is great, nobody even cares about factions anymore, saying "We're the World First Alliance Guild" only gets pity.Just imagine it for M+.Playing Night Elf, with a player-pool larger than the Horde.
The faction conflict can only stop when the horde's structure is destroyed and rebuilt, because at this point they are on their 3rd war chief to break the peace in a row (or their 2nd non-consecutive if ashran is actually non-canon) and its getting ahrd to justify the horde going on as they are
Here, since you called me wrong..."A popular misconception among the fanbase is that Thrall cheated in his final mak'gora against Garrosh when he used elemental magic. However, there has never been any rule forbidding the use of magic and spells. Moreover, there is precedent for the use of magic in mak'gora, as both Shagara and Ashra made extensive use of it during their mak'gora. Thrall had also already used magic in the first mak'gora between him and Garrosh, by throwing lightning bolts."https://wow.gamepedia.com/Mak%27gora
I think people really get this concept twisted in their head. I don't believe people want factions ended because they hate "Horde vs Alliance" or that they want a "peaceful" game. People want it ended because at this point in a 15-year old game their friends are all fragmented. A personal example is my Wife, her sister, and some of my friends love Alliance characters, but hate Horde characters. My best friend, some of my cousins, and some of my colleagues only like to play Horde characters. There is no other game where so many people I know play. I imagine what it'd be like if I could just play my favorite character with all of them and I'm so excited by this concept. If it takes dissolution of the Horde and Alliance for this to happen, then I'm down for it. Whatever route they take for this to happen, most likely I am down for it. If they offered "pro-subscriptions", $20/month, and each character you made had a horde/alliance copy maintained that you could login to, then I would also be down for it. If they offered "you choose" factions at the beginning of each expansion, that you could switch between at any time (maybe with a cooldown?) I'd be down for it.
random Orc soldier: "oh hey nightelf. I am really sorry that we slaughter our way through ashenvale and burned down your home, but we were board and it sounded like a good idee."random Nightelf: "nah nothing wrong. We love that we and the rest of the alliance can organize troopes to help you. See this is farmer from westfall how got drafted into this war, he can surely help you"how exacliy should the normal population make peace with the other side ?in bfa alone we have the genocite of the nightelfs, invasion in kul'tiras, the kingsmord in Zuldazar, Alliance needing to draft farmers into the army, justified exile from the void elfs, etc.lorewise the populations should revolt if anduin forces them to have peace.
All the whiny plebs are rejoicing that “this faction %^&*” is coming to an end so they can play a BE and dryhump an NE in Goldshire. The logic of this after emphasizing Faction Pride for an entire expansion, lol. Also looks like that Secret Blizz Employee Reddit AMA was legit. Dragon Isles + Shadowlands is the next xpack.
Removing factions would hurt the game too much. To loosen up faction restrictions would however be amazing to have. Imagine a Blood elf who after all this decides to abandon the horde and instead join the alliance. Or a Dwarf who's life was saved by a Tauren a long time ago in the Barrens, and after all this fighting, he retires in Thunder bluff as a member of the new horde.
As horde main, I made an alliance alt. Mythic + is half as active, if that. Raids groups are tougher to find and fewer of them, especially at odd hours. I honestly think its best for the game to just merge the factions, allow them to play together, but still be a bit "hostile" as in you can't just go to orgrimmar as human and set hearthstone at the inn there.
I doubt I'd ever come back to WoW if it was factionless. I'd prefer a third faction!
Because, you know, Blizzard feels they want to go faction-less when the whole game is built mechanically around having two. I assume you mean for them to rewrite all BGs/Epics, etc. so they have a third and/or faction-less people (a third faction) who won't fit in the game anywhere.Oh, yeah, peaceful coexistence would mean the end of the game. The Peace expansion everyone! Without content, because no conflict! We'll walk around /loving bunnies!
if this is happen i immediately leave the game.. i never accept this stupid idea factions special for warcraft universe...i accept if more..but no faction.. bad bad bad idea..
