Druid entangling roots when hit with barkskin + conduit to reduce cd of barkskin + damage when entangling roots break + dot when entangling roots is active + barkskin duration increased!
Once had max stacks of the wings on the start of a floor combined 3 extra charges of Hammer and hammer extends wings on my ret pala during beta. So I was just running around with permanent wings. Much fun was had.
For Death Knights, the best combo I've had fun with is pairing Boundless Fortitude with Ancient Drake Breath. Toss in a couple Tome of Swordplay to shorten the cooldown, and anything that wants to cast interruptable actions is going to have a BAD day (not to mention, you get to have strong uptime of IBF as well). Death Knights, at least for Blood and Frost, do not have much that changes HOW they play. It is basically "my stuff hits harder" gameplay, which feels kinda bad. I imagine that Unholy has a bit of fun with all the Death Coil related powers, but I hate how the spec plays, so not my wheelhouse. With Warlock, I had a similar experience to Afflux above, except as Destruction.- Soul Platter to boost duration of Infernals to 1 minute, and a coin-flip on them consuming Soul Remnants for +100% Damage for that summon- Darkwhisper Signet to add an extra Infernal to each activation. It can trigger it's own Soul Remnant consumption as well.- Realmlord's Insignia to get the CD for Summon Infernal as close to 1 minute as possibleNow, each Infernal generates a Soul Shard Fragment every 0.5 seconds. You are going to be swimming in them. Conflagerate's CD is not fast enough, you will wind up hard-casting Chaos Bolts. If you happen to get a couple Mark of Borrowed Power for a stackable 15% Soul Shard refund chance per Chaos Bolt (and yes, it triggers on HIT, not CAST, so you can get net-positive with two targets during Havoc), it becomes Soul Shard madness. Hellfire Pact is a nice flat +50% damage for all demons (unlike the health one that only applies to your primary demon). Toss in the Infernal Brand conduit, and Rain of Chaos talent, and bosses will just MELT.My Warlock is mainly just for herbing and inscription, so knowing this kind of Chaos Bolt/Infernal spam is the common thing in Torghast, I actually went with the Madness of the Azj'Aqir Legendary helmet, just to try and make that CB Spam faster and a bit more impactful during these runs.
Here's another one for Enha:Totem Drop drops another totem5% Dmg inc per totem activeBL on Totem DropAscendance activates when BL use is usedBL doesn't incur the Debuff.3 Acendance Bursts within 4 seconds, managed about 50k dps on a pack. And 25k ST.
I gotta say, I absolutely love Torghast as an Unholy DK.... Rocking 105% mastery, 3 stacks of Skull Bloomer had my death coils hitting for near 10k a piece, Bone Harvester inflicting a DoT that rezzes them back as a risen skulker or magus if they die while the DoT is active, and scourge strike causing disease damage to occur 150% for 5s, and then throw in the one that makes Lichborne radiate death coils like a machine gun... "You become a magus, you become a magus, oh hey... you become a magus..." I had SOO many minions with that, army of the dead and apocalypse, it literally lagged out my computer. I have a 10th gen i7, GTA 1080 and 32g RAM, lol
I just did 2 runs were my shadow priest had 140k HP, light shields for 20k (plus 30% thorn damage from there) , fear that can handle 1200% more damage, mind blast resetting the fear... bonus damage against CC npcs... Also, there is an anima power that... just look :DVolatile Phantasm + 2 Fragments of Obscurity = Fade each 10 seconds, (illusion last that time to then explode and be replaced) so is like having a kamikaze pet that tanks for you.Best feature ever!I hope they add more fun powers xD
One shotted last boss of 7nth layer with Drain Soul and Chaotic Effigy stacked at 4 before the Torghast nerf...
Blood Death knight minion build. The Horsemen's Call (managed to get 3 of those, felt like I was the true owner of Naxxramas when I brought 3 horsemen to life). And the wombo comboSkull Bloomer * 3Bone Harvester * 1Undertaker's Crown *1Lich Robes *3Pop lichborne, become a tornado of death coil, watch everything die and rise as pets. Toss 2 death strike and repeat.
I did a run with several stacks of the ability that makes roots do damage. Killed all mobs up to the boss in seconds just by casting roots. Once i got to the boss it failed though due to crowd controls reduced duration and eventual immunity
I have 4 stacks of that power, along with 4 stacks of the increased Soul Cleave damage and the refresh duration, by the end of the run I wasn't using anything other than Immolation Aura.Best Torghast run ever.
It's funny, though I wish they wouldn't use that frog meme...
every class has a good combo though? an entire article for this?
Isn't havoc immo aura like.. twice stronger than venge? I remember doing ticks for 10k dmg :D
man it sure would be nice if rogue anima powers were any good
so in 58sec he deals 333k dmg ... in torghast anywayfind is fun but useless :>
I clicked this thinking it would be a good display of Torghast power combinations .... all it was was a DH doing 7k DPS, it's really nothing postworthy in content where you have things like Fleshcraft-bombing Brewmaster's hitting for 1.5million damage on AoE or Resto Druids doing 160k DPS with Convoke/Roots.
Stop complaining, you can literally take mass entanglement with the roots deal damage perk and afk till they die, sometimes you need to reapply it, you can even kill the end of level bosses by just rooting them.
Meanwhile I am pulling 2 mobs and eating everytime I kill something with my frost mage ty blizz ty ty ty
oh, so there are ppl oneshotting bosses with good anima powers while i get stuff like seeing elites through walls or the one which shows which mob will drop anima power...most of my runs as a destro lock i get powers that buff my pets (well yea 800k hp void tanking boss is good, but i mean i could get some destro powers too)
