The only thing I don't agree with is that Tyrande bailed with her wounded loverboy and left her citizens behind at the horde's mercy. Also that no other alliance race is helping to defend. The horde side you see bloodelves, orcs, trolls, goblins, but to defend Darnassus it's only nightelves, treants and other woodlike creatures. Exodar is a mere boat trip away and yet not a single one is aiding the citizens of Teldrassil. Makes it feel like all other alliance races are just watching it happen from the sidelines. Thats what bothers me the most.
LFM Sylvanas mount run, 1 tank 2 dps spots, link curve or no inv.
I was disappointed in this story arc from a questing perspective. Why didn't horde have any quests detailing how they got through Felwood since it was supposedly "not safe". I wanted to do some of that Horde side. Why didn't you have a quest to fire catapults at the tree? There were so many missed opportunities there for questing on both sides. It felt rushed and not satisfying at all. Come on Blizz, what happened to your engaging pre-xpac arcs to get us involved? I feel like all this "war of thorns" quest purpose was to make people sad and angry, from both sides. She literally tells you she's starting the war to make a preemptive strike because "sooner or later" the alliance would "eventually" come for the horde, because "peace would never last" so basically shes saying "welp, i won't even give peace a chance, lets get the ball rolling right now". Then she burns the tree because a dying Nelf told her she couldn't kill hope, so she says "cant i?" and gives the order. Then while watching it burn tells us this wasn't part of her plan, but oh well it works just as well. (and btw should be interesting to find out what she does to Saurfang when she finds out he didn't exicute Malf.) I don't really know why she hates Malfurion so much (I'm not a lore buff), I know why Greyman hates her tho, his son died when she attacked Gilneas, and the whole thing with her "abandoning" the alliance in Legion (tho i played horde quest so I totally understand why the horde retreated), and if his wife dies from this attack on Darn, I can easily see him completely losing himself in rage and pulling a Jaina one some horde.I used to think Silvanas was so bada--, she was cool, she looked cool, her story was cool, and now, shes just another Garrosh. I've seen people talk about theories about her being in the sway of old gods, and mentioning things like what Helya says to her, and the whispers Vol'jin mentioned when he died. Sure, she could be under Old God influence, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be less angry and disappointed about it. >:(

Killing civilians. That's not soldiering. That's the lowest of the low.
i hope sylvanas will become a final raid boss in this expansion.
I was blown away by the cinematic. I thought it was epic, and, by far, is some of the best writing that Blizz has given us. It really explains Sylvanas' motives, and the pain she's gone through, and how she views her past self from when she was alive, and through showing us, not flat out saying "she feels this way because x". This isn't like Arthas where he turns evil because he touched some sword (even if it did suck his soul out), or Garrosh where he turns into a tyrant without a given reason other than "he gets influenced by those around him" (although you can figure out his motivations and emotions through research, but, you know, something a bit more...overt would have been nice. Something like this), and I like both Arthas and Garrosh (I just think the writing was...sub-par. And Chronicle Vol. III didn't fix it). No, with Sylvanas, we can actually see why she does what she does, and it puts her past actions in a whole new light, and with her beliefs on life revealed, it may be that, yes, she truly does think that she's doing everyone a favor by trying to kill them. Perhaps all she needs is a hug. Lor'themar needs to hug her.Still doesn't justify burning down a tree, though. Or slaughtering her subjects because they have living family. Or blight-bombing Horde soldiers who are fighting to protect her city, and then raising them as skeletons. I had no problems with the idea of invading and occupying Teldrassil, because this is war (not necessarily "hatred" as Delaryn "made-for-this-scenario-only-to-die" Summermoon claims, though the two kind of go hand-in-hand), but burning a tree? Especially one with a bunch of innocent civilians living inside it? Yeah, no, that was purely to spite one person. A person who really should have kept her mouth shut. Seriously, Delaryn, learn when to fold 'em. (Well, I guess she can't now...)People, supposedly fans, keep b****ing about how this is lazy writing, turning Sylvanas into a mustache-twirling villain, and the entire Horde along with her (apparently, they think that the Warchief is the Horde, much like Garrosh and possibly Sylvanas do). I was trying to recall when anyone at Blizz actually said that Sylvanas was written as morally grey, but all I could remember was Ion claiming that there's no black-and-white between the Horde and Alliance. Again, the Warchief is not the Horde, much like High King Angel-Face Wrynn isn't the Alliance (although when has the Alliance ever did anything that made Alliance players question their loyalties? At least the Horde gets that much! ...maybe a bit too often...). Apparently, people don't want conflict, and want the Alliance and Horde to skip hand-in-hand through a field of blossoming daisies. At least this isn't like back in Wrath where the Alliance resumes open hostilities with the Horde because of a group of Forsaken who betrayed the Horde (although he did get to see some of their Sylvanas-ordered experiments, so...); the Horde this time actually did do something to them. People may b**** "why are the Horde the aggressors? It's as if Blizz wants us to realize that they're evil!", but, remember, Ion has already said that the threat this time around is not a giant fel-titan, but "the dwarf that put his axe in that titan's head". Sylvanas and the rest of the Horde likely fully believe that if they don't strike first, the Alliance will (as Saurfang put it "not for nothing; so the Horde will endure"). They may know that High King Angel-Face Wrynn would rather negotiate for peace than fight a war, but they would also know that he is not the Alliance, and likely that other factions (namely Gilneas and Darnassus (as the Night Elves have always disliked the Horde simply for trying to attain resources in "their" forest)) could possibly dissent if he doesn't take action against the Horde, and Angel-Face wouldn't want that, would he? To keep the allies he already has, he could be willing to go to war against those who he's always been enemies with. Thus, it's not exactly a bad idea to strike first, and try to take out the biggest threat to your dominance over a continent (the draenei aren't really bothering anyone, and they kind of keep to those two islands).I hate seeing people b**** about how this is lazy writing, or that the Horde are out-and-out villains now, and that Horde players should reroll Alliance, or that THEY are rerolling Alliance, or are cancelling their subscription, or some other s*** like that. It pisses me off, and I don't think that these people deserve to enjoy WoW, or anything else for that matter (granted, by their comments, they probably don't enjoy anything aside from b****ing about stuff that they don't enjoy). These people seem to think that Blizzard owes them whatever story they want to have, instead of the story that Blizzard wants to give us, and Blizzard is doing a much better job than any of these "fans" could probably give us. To me, this would be like someone claiming that they're going to stop reading/watching One Piece because the Reverie Arc didn't last long enough, and/or didn't reveal enough new, story-changing plot points (for those that don't know, there were several major revelations), or simply because a single FIGHT didn't turn out like they wanted, or didn't last long enough, or didn't even HAPPEN. These people claim that they're done, but you know that they're going to keep up with it just so that they can b**** about it.EDIT: forgot to remove swearing, so words ending up as "&%!*" and the like. I felt that taking out all the letters made it look confusing, so I changed it to where the first letter should show, but the rest of the word are asterisks. I feel that this should get my point across better than &%!* would.
So how do you guys think, what title will be the reward for killing Sylvanas on mythic? Banshee Hunter? Windrunner's Demise? Bane of the Banshee Queen?Banshee's Downfall?;)
